أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ ، حَدَّثَنِي يُونُسُ ، عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي السَّائِبُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ ، عَنْ الْمُطَّلِبِ بْنِ أَبِي وَدَاعَةَ ، أَنَّ حَفْصَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَتْ :" لَمْ أَرَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي فِي سُبْحَتِهِ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ، حَتَّى كَانَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُتَوَفَّى بِعَامٍ وَاحِدٍ أَوْ عَامَيْنِ، فَرَأَيْتُهُ يُصَلِّي فِي سُبْحَتِهِ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ، فَيُرَتِّلُ السُّورَةَ حَتَّى تَكُونَ أَطْوَلَ مِنْ أَطْوَلَ مِنْهَا ".
أَخْبَرَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، أَنْبأَنَا مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ السَّائِبِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ ، عَنْ الْمُطَّلِبِ بْنِ أَبِي وَدَاعَةَ ، عَنْ حَفْصَةَ ، عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ

Abdullah bin Salih told us, Al-Layth told me, Yunus told me, on the authority of Ibn Shihab, Al-Sa’ib bin Yazid told me, on the authority of Al-Muttalib bin Abu Wadaa’, that Hafsa, the wife of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “I did not see the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, praying in his Rosary while he was He was sitting, until he was one or two years before he died, and I saw him praying his rosary while sitting, and reciting the surah until it was longer. Who is taller than her.”
Uthman ibn Umar informed us, Malik informed us, on the authority of Al-Zuhri, on the authority of Al-Sa’ib ibn Yazid, on the authority of Al-Muttalib ibn Abi Wada’ah, on the authority of Hafsa On the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, with this hadith
