حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، بِإِسْنَادِهِ مِثْلَهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ “‏ مَنْ خَصَى عَبَدَهُ خَصَيْنَاهُ ‏”‏ ‏.‏ ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ مِثْلَ حَدِيثِ شُعْبَةَ وَحَمَّادٍ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَرَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ عَنْ هِشَامٍ مِثْلَ حَدِيثِ مُعَاذٍ ‏.‏

Narrated Qatadah: Through the same chain of narrators as mentioned before, i.e. Samurah reported the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) as saying: If anyone castrates his slave, we shall castrate him. He then mentioned the rest of the tradition like that of Sh’ubah and Hammad. Abu Dawud said: Abu Dawud al-Tayalisi transmitted it from Hisham like the tradition of Mu’adh.
