Sunan al-Darimi – سنن الدارمي – Hadith #268

أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ أَبَانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ إِدْرِيسَ ، عَنْ لَيْثٍ ، عَنْ الشَّعْبِيِّ فِي الْحَامِلِ تَرَى الدَّمَ" إِنْ كَانَ الدَّمُ عَبِيطًا، اغْتَسَلَتْ وَصَلَّتْ، وَإِنْ كَانَتْ تَرِيَّةً، تَوَضَّأَتْ وَصَلَّتْ "، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ ، عَنْ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ ، مِثْلَهُ
Ismail bin Aban told us, Ibn Idris told us, on the authority of Laith, on the authority of Al-Sha’bi: “In a pregnant woman, you see blood.” If the blood is foul, she takes a bath.
