أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هِلَالٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي شَيْبَةُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ الرَّاسِبِيُّ ، قَالَ : سَأَلْتُ سَالِمَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ الرَّجُلِ يُضَاجِعُ امْرَأَتَهُ وَهِيَ حَائِضٌ فِي لِحَافٍ وَاحِدٍ، فَقَالَ :" أَمَّا نَحْنُ آلَ عُمَرَ فَنَهْجُرُهُنَّ إِذَا كُنَّ حُيَّضًا "

Abu Nu`aym told us, Abu Hilal told us, Shaybah bin Hisham al-Rasibi told me, he said: I asked Salem bin Abdullah about the man. He had intercourse with his menstruating wife in one blanket, and he said: “As for us, the family of Omar, we will shun them when they are menstruating.”
