أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ لِامْرَأَتِهِ :" اسْتَأْصِلِي الشَّعْرَ بِالْمَاءِ لَا تَخَلَّلُهُ نَارٌ قَلِيلٌ بُقْيَاهَا عَلَيْهِ "

Yazid bin Harun informed us, on the authority of Ja`far bin Al-Harith, on the authority of Mansour, on the authority of Ibrahim, on the authority of Hammam bin Al-Harith, on the authority of Hudhayfah, That he said to his wife: “Remove the hair with water and do not let a little fire remain on it.”
