أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَسَّانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ :" التَّسْبِيحُ لِلرِّجَالِ، وَالتَّصْفِيقُ لِلنِّسَاءِ "

Yahya bin Hassan told us, Sufyan told us, on the authority of Al-Zuhri, on the authority of Abu Salamah, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, He said: “Tasbih is for men, and clapping is for women.”
