أَخْبَرَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْحَوْضِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ سَيَّارٍ أَبِي الْمِنْهَالِ الرِّيَاحِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَرْزَةَ ، قَالَ : كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" يَكْرَهُ النَّوْمَ قَبْلَ الْعِشَاءِ، وَالْحَدِيثَ بَعْدَهَا "

Hafs bin Omar Al-Hudhi told us, Shu’bah told us, on the authority of Sayyar Abi Al-Minhal Al-Riyahi, on the authority of Abu Barza, he said: The Prophet prayed May God bless him and grant him peace, “It is disliked to sleep before dinner, and to talk after it.”
