أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ : أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " كَانَيُصَلِّي قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ، وَبَعْدَ الظُّهْرِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ، وَبَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ فِي بَيْتِهِ، وَبَعْدَ الْعِشَاءِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ، وَبَعْدَ الْجُمُعَةِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ فِي بَيْتِهِ "

Abu Asim told us, on the authority of Malik, on the authority of Nafi’, on the authority of Ibn Umar: that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, “used to pray two rak’ahs before noon. And after noon two rak'ahs, and after sunset two rak'ahs in his house, and after the evening prayer two rak'ahs, and after Friday two rak'ahs in his house.”
