أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْحِزَامِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا حِبَّانُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ حَبَّانَ ، عَنْ ابْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : جَاءَ أَعْرَابِيٌّ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، ائْذَنْ لِي فَلِأَسْجُدَ لَكَ.
قَالَ :" لَوْ كُنْتُ آمِرًا أَحَدًا أَنْ يَسْجُدَ لِأَحَدٍ، لَأَمَرْتُ الْمَرْأَةَ أَنْ تَسْجُدُ لِزَوْجِهَا "

Muhammad bin Yazid Al-Hazami told us, Hibban bin Ali told us, on the authority of Salih bin Hibban, on the authority of Ibn Buraydah, on the authority of his father, he said: A Bedouin came to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and said: O Messenger of God, give me permission to prostrate to you.
He said: “If I were to command anyone to prostrate to anyone else, I would command the woman to prostrate to her husband.”
