حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَسَّانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ هُوَ ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ الْأَحْوَلِ ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا قَامَ يَتَهَجَّدُ مِنْ اللَّيْلِ قَالَ :" اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ، أَنْتَ نُورُ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَنْ فِيهِنَّ، وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ، أَنْتَ قَيُّومُ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَنْ فِيهِنَّ، وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ، أَنْتَ مَلِكُ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَنْ فِيهِنَّ، أَنْتَ الْحَقُّ، وَقَوْلُكَ الْحَقُّ، وَوَعْدُكَ الْحَقُّ، وَلِقَاؤُكَ حَقٌّ، وَالْجَنَّةُ حَقٌّ، وَالنَّارُ حَقٌّ، وَالْبَعْثُ حَقٌّ، وَالنَّبِيُّونَ حَقٌّ، وَمُحَمَّدٌّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَقٌّ.
اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ أَسْلَمْتُ، وَبِكَ آمَنْتُ، وَعَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْتُ، وَإِلَيْكَ أَنَبْتُ، وَبِكَ خَاصَمْتُ، وَإِلَيْكَ حَاكَمْتُ، فَاغْفِرْ لِي مَا قَدَّمْتُ وَمَا أَخَّرْتُ، وَمَا أَعْلَنْتُ وَمَا أَسْرَرْتُ، أَنْتَ الْمُقَدِّمُ وَأَنْتَ الْمُؤَخِّرُ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِكَ "

Yahya bin Hassan told us, Sufyan, he is Ibn Uyaynah, told us, on the authority of Sulayman al-Ahwal, on the authority of Tawus, on the authority of Ibn Abbas, he said: It was When the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, got up, he would pray during the night and say: “O God, praise be to You. You are the light of the heavens and the earth and whoever is in them, and to You is Praise, You are the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and all that is in them, and praise be to You, You are the Sovereign of the heavens and the earth and all that is in them, You are the Truth, and Your word is the truth, Your promise is true, your meeting is true, Paradise is true, Hell is true, resurrection is true, the prophets are true, and Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, is true.
O God, to You I have submitted, and in You I have believed, and in You I have put my trust, and to You I repent, and to You I have disputed, and to You I have judged, so forgive me what I have put forward and what I have delayed. “And I have not declared and I have not made secret. You are the advancer and you are the delayer. There is no god but You, and there is no power or strength except with You.”
