Abu Ali al-Hanafi told us, Malik ibn Anas told us, on the authority of Abu al-Zubayr al-Makki, that Abu al-Tufayl Aamir ibn Wathilah informed him, that Muadh bin Jabal told him, saying: We went out with the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, in the year of the Battle of Tabuk, and he used to join the prayers together, so he prayed the noon prayer. He prayed the afternoon prayer together, then he entered, then he went out after that and prayed the sunset and evening prayers together.”
