Abu Ja`far Muhammad ibn Mahran al-Jamal told us, Hatim ibn Ismail told us, on the authority of al-Harith ibn Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Dhubab, On the authority of his uncle, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “If one of you eats or drinks forgetfully while he is fasting, then He mentioned, so let him complete his fast, for God only fed him and gave him drink.”
Abu Muhammad said: The people of Hijaz say: He judges, but I say: He does not judge.
