Abdullah bin Salih told us, Bakr, who is Ibn Mudar, told me, on the authority of Amr bin Al-Harith, on the authority of Yazid, the client of Salamah bin Al-Akwa’, on the authority of Salamah, that he said: When this verse was revealed: #And upon those who are able to bear it is a ransom of feeding a poor person. Surat Al-Baqarah, verse 184 #, he said: “It was Whoever wanted to break his fast and make a ransom, he did so, until the next verse was revealed and abrogated it.”
