حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ :" إِذَا أَتَى أَحَدَكُمْ خَادِمُهُ بِطَعَامٍ، فَلْيُجْلِسْهُ مَعَهُ، أَوْ لَيُنَاوِلْهُ لُقْمَةً أَوْ لُقْمَتَيْنِ، أَوْ أُكْلَةً أَوْ أُكْلَتَيْنِ، فَإِنَّهُ وَلِيَ حَرَّهُ وَدُخَانَهُ "

Abu Al-Walid told us, Shu’bah told us, on the authority of Muhammad bin Ziyad, he said: I heard Abu Hurairah speaking, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, He said: “If one of you brings his servant food, let him sit with him, or give him a morsel or two, or a meal or two, For he is the protector of his heat and smoke.”
