حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، عَنْ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي رَبِيعَةُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الدَّيْلَمِيِّ ، قَالَ : دَخَلْتُ عَلَى عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ فِي حَائِطٍ لَهُ بِالطَّائِفِ ، يُقَالُ لَهُ : الْوَهْطُ ، فَإِذَا هُوَ مُخَاصِرٌ فَتًى مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ يُزَنُّ ذَلِكَ الْفَتَى بِشُرْبِ الْخَمْرِ، فَقُلْتُ : خِصَالٌ بَلَغَتْنِي عَنْكَ أَنَّكَ تُحَدِّثُ بِهَا، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَنَّهُ : مَنْ شَرِبَ الْخَمْرَ شَرْبَةً، لَمْ تُقْبَلْ لَهُ صَلَاةٌ أَرْبَعِينَ صَبَاحًا، فَلَمَّا أَنْ سَمِعَهُ الْفَتَى بِذِكُرُ الْخَمْرَ، اخْتَلَجَ يَدَهُ مِنْ يَدِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، ثُمَّ وَلَّى.
فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ : اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي لَا أُحِلُّ لِأَحَدٍ أَنْ يَقُولَ عَلَيَّ مَا لَمْ أَقُلْ، وَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ :" مَنْ شَرِبَ الْخَمْرَ شَرْبَةً، لَمْ تُقْبَلْ لَهُ صَلَاةٌ أَرْبَعِينَ صَبَاحًا، فَإِنْ تَابَ، تَابَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ، فَلَا أَدْرِي فِي الثَّالِثَةِ أَمْ فِي الرَّابِعَةِ : كَانَ حَقًّا عَلَى اللَّهِ أَنْ يَسْقِيَهُ مِنْ رَدْغَةِ الْخَبَالِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ "

Muhammad bin Yusuf told us, on the authority of Al-Awza’i, he said: Rabi’ah bin Yazid told me, on the authority of Abdullah bin Al-Dailami, he said: I entered upon Abdul Allah ibn Amr ibn al-Aas is in a compound of his in Taif, and it is called: Al-Waht. Then, behold, he is a quarrel with a young man from Quraysh. He is committing adultery with that young man by drinking. Alcohol, so I said: Characteristics that I learned from you that you narrate about, on the authority of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, that: Whoever drinks alcohol for a single drink, will not His prayer would be accepted for forty mornings, and when the boy heard him mentioning alcohol, he shook his hand from Abdullah’s hand, then he left.
Abdullah said: Oh God, I do not make it permissible for anyone to say against me what I did not say, and I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, saying: “Who He drank alcohol to a large extent, and his prayer was not accepted for forty mornings. If he repents, God will repent to him. I do not know whether it was the third or the fourth. He was truly responsible. May God give him to drink from the stench of intoxication on the Day of Resurrection.”
