أَخْبَرَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الزَّهْرَانِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَنْصُورٌ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ الْأَسْوَدِ ، عَنْ أَبِي السَّنَابِلِ ، قَالَ : وَضَعَتْ سُبَيْعَةُ بِنْتُ الْحَارِثِ حَمْلَهَا بَعْدَ وَفَاةِ زَوْجِهَا بِبِضْعٍ وَعِشْرِينَ لَيْلَةً، فَلَمَّا تَعَلَّتْ مِنْ نِفَاسِهَا تَشَوَّفَتْ، فَعِيبَ ذَلِكَ عَلَيْهَا، فَذُكِرَ أَمْرُهَا لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ :" إِنْ تَفْعَلْ، فَقَدْ انْقَضَى أَجَلُهَا "

Bishr bin Omar Al-Zahrani told us, Abu Al-Ahwas told us, Mansour told us, on the authority of Ibrahim, on the authority of Al-Aswad, on the authority of Abu Al-Sanabel, He said: Subay’ah bint Al-Harith gave birth twenty-odd nights after her husband’s death, and when she came to her senses, she saw something wrong. That is upon her, so her matter was mentioned to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and he said: “If she does, then her time has passed.”
