أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، قَالَ : أَنْبَأَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاق ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ الْبَرَاءَ ، يَقُولُ : لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةُ : # لا يَسْتَوِي الْقَاعِدُونَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ سورة النساء آية 95 #،دَعَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ زَيْدًا فَجَاءَ بِكَتِفٍ فَكَتَبَهَا.
وَشَكَا ابْنُ أُمِّ مَكْتُومٍ ضَرَارَتَهُ، فَنَزَلَتْ : # لا يَسْتَوِي الْقَاعِدُونَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ غَيْرُ أُولِي الضَّرَرِ سورة النساء آية 95 #

Abu Al-Walid told us, Shu’bah told us, he said: Abu Ishaq told us, he said: I heard Al-Bara’, saying: When this was revealed Verse: #Not equal are those who sit among the believers. Surah An-Nisa, Verse 95 #, The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, called Zayd, and he brought a letter and wrote it down.
Ibn Umm Maktoum complained about his harm, so it was revealed: # Those who sit among the believers are not equal to those who are afflicted, Surah An-Nisa, Verse 95 #
