Muhammad ibn Yusuf informed us, on the authority of Sufyan, on the authority of Abd al-Malik ibn Umair, on the authority of Atiya al-Qurazi. He said: “We presented it to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. On that day, whoever grows hair will be killed, and whoever does not grow it will be left behind.” So I was among those whose hair did not grow, so they did not kill me.
Meaning: the day of Qurayza
