حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمِنْهَالِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ إِيَاسَ بْنَ عَبْدٍ الْمُزَنِيَّ وَكَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ : لَا تَبِيعُوا الْمَاءَ : فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " يَنْهَى عَنْبَيْعِ الْمَاءِ ".
وَقَالَ عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ : لَا نَدْرِي أَيَّ مَاءٍ.
قَالَ : يَقُولُ : لَا أَدْرِي مَاءً جَارِيًا أَوِ الْمَاءَ الْمُسْتَقَى؟

Muhammad bin Yusuf told us, Ibn Uyaynah told us, on the authority of Amr bin Dinar, on the authority of Abu Al-Minhal, he said: I heard Iyas bin Abdul-Muzani He was one of the companions of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. He said: Do not sell water, for I heard the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, “forbidding the use of spring water.”
Amr bin Dinar said: We do not know what water it is.
He said: He says: I do not know whether it is running water or drawn water?
