أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ إِسْحَاق ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ : أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرًا يَقُولُ : كُنَّا نُخَابِرُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَنْهَانَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْخِبْرِ بَسَنَتَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلَاثٍ، عَلَى الثُّلُثِ، وَالشَّطْرِ، وَشَيْءٍ مِنْ تِبْنٍ، فَقَالَ لَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" مَنْ كَانَتْ لَهُ أَرْضٌ فَلْيَحْرُثْهَا، فَإِنْ كَرِهَ أَنْ يَحْرُثَهَا، فَلْيَمْنَحْهَا أَخَاهُ، فَإِنْ كَرِهَ أَنْ يَمْنَحَهَا أَخَاهُ، فَلْيَدَعْهَا "

Abu Al-Hasan told us, on the authority of Zakaria bin Ishaq, Abu Al-Zubayr told us: He heard Jabir say: We were telling each other before he forbade us. The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, reported the news by two or three years, on a third, the half, and some straw, so the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said to us May God bless him and grant him peace: “Whoever has land, let him till it, but if he hates to till it, let him give it to his brother; His brother, let him leave her.”
