أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ  ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَشْعَثُ  ، عَنْ الشَّعْبِيِّ  ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ  ، وَزَيْدٍ   قَالَا :" إِذَا كَانَتْ الْجَدَّاتُ سَوَاءً، وَرِثَ ثَلَاثُ جَدَّاتٍ جَدَّتَا أَبِيهِ أُمُّ أُمِّهِ، وَأُمُّ أَبِيهِ، وَجَدَّةُ أُمِّهِ، فَإِنْ كَانَتْ إِحَدَاهُنَّ أَقْرَب، فَالسَّهْمُ لِذَوِي الْقُرْبَى
Yazid bin Harun told us, Al-Ash’ath told us, on the authority of Al-Sha’bi, on the authority of Ali, and Zaid who said: “If the grandmothers are equal, three inheritors His father’s maternal grandmothers, his father’s mother, and his maternal grandmother. If one of them is closer, then the share goes to the relatives.
