حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ ، عَنْ ابْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ : أَنَّ عُثْمَانَ كَانَ" لَا يُوَرِّثُ الْجَدَّةَ وَابْنُهَا حَيٌّ "

Saeed bin Al-Mughirah told us, on the authority of Ibn Al-Mubarak, on the authority of Muammar, on the authority of Al-Zuhri: that Uthman “did not inherit from a grandmother while her son was alive.”
