حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : سَأَلْتُ الشَّعْبِيَّ عَنْ رَجُلٍ مَاتَ وَتَرَكَ ابْنَتَهُ، لَا يُعْلَمُ لَهُ وَارِثٌ غَيْرُهَا، قَالَ :" لَهَا الْمَالُ كُلُّهُ "

Abu Nu`aym told us, Hassan told us, on the authority of his father, he said: I asked Al-Sha’bi about a man who died and left behind his daughter, and no heir is known to him other than her. He said: “She has all the money.”
