Sunan al-Darimi – سنن الدارمي – Hadith #2261

حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي مَعْشَرٍ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قَالَ :" إِذَا مَاتَ الْمَيِّتُ وَجَبَتْ الْحُقُوقُ لِأَهْلِهَا، وَلَمْ يَجْعَلْ لِمَنْ أَسْلَمَ أَوْ أُعْتِقَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُقْسَمَ الْمِيرَاثُ شَيْئًا "
Ja`far bin Aoun told us, on the authority of Sa`id, on the authority of Abu Ma`shar, on the authority of Ibrahim, who said: “If the deceased dies, rights are due to its family, and no “He gives something to the one who converts to Islam or is emancipated before the inheritance is divided.”
