حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ : فِي رَجُلٍ اعْتَرَفَ عِنْدَ مَوْتِهِ بِأَلْفِ دِرْهَمٍ لِرَجُلٍ، وَأَقَامَ آخَرُ بَيِّنَةً بِأَلْفِ دِرْهَمٍ، وَتَرَكَ الْمَيِّتُ أَلْفَ دِرْهَمٍ، فَقَالَ :" الْمَالُ بَيْنَهُمَا نِصْفَيْنِ، إِلَّا أَنْ يَكُونَ مُفْلِسًا، فَلَا يَجُوزُ إِقْرَارُهُ "

Ahmad bin Abdullah told us, Abu Shihab told us, on the authority of Amr, on the authority of Al-Hasan: Concerning a man who confessed, upon his death, a thousand dirhams to a man.
