حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَجِيدِ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا وَائِلٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" قَالَ بِئْسَمَا لِأَحَدِكُمْ أَنْ يَقُولَ : نَسِيتُ آيَةَ كَيْتَ وَكَيْتَ، بَلْ هُوَ نُسِّيَ، وَاسْتَذْكِرُوا الْقُرْآنَ، فَإِنَّهُ أَسْرَعُ تَفَصِّيًا مِنْ صُدُورِ الرِّجَالِ مِنْ النَّعَمِ مِنْ عُقُلِهَا "

Ubayd Allah bin Abdul Majeed told us, on the authority of Shu`bah, on the authority of Mansour, who said: I heard Abu Wael, on the authority of Abdullah, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. He, peace and blessings of God be upon him: “He said: ‘How miserable is it for any of you to say: I forgot a certain verse and another. Rather, he forgot. And remember the Qur’an, for it is quicker in explaining it than the Qur’an. "Men's breasts are full of blessings from her mind."
