Sunan al-Darimi – سنن الدارمي – Hadith #2654

حَدَّثَنَا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ سَلَّامٍ أَبُو عُبَيْدٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ الْأَشْجَعِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنِي مِسْعَرٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي جَابِرٌ ، قَبْلَ أَنْ يَقَعَ فِيمَا وَقَعَ فِيهِ ، عَنْ الشَّعْبِيِّ ، قَالَ : قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ :" نِعْمَ كَنْزُ الصُّعْلُوكِ سُورَةُ آلِ عِمْرَانَ ، يَقُومُ بِهَا فِي آخِرِ اللَّيْلِ "
Al-Qasim bin Salam Abu Ubaid narrated to us, he said: Ubayd Allah Al-Ashja’i narrated to me, Mas’ar narrated to me, he said: Jabir narrated to me, before it happened. Regarding what happened in it, on the authority of Al-Sha’bi, he said: Abdullah said: “What a wonderful treasure the tramps are, Surah Al Imran, he recites it at the end of the night.”
