أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاق بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ ، عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ : جَاءَ جِبْرِيلُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ حَزِينٌ، وَقَدْ تَخَضَّبَ بِالدَّمِ مِنْ فِعْلِ أَهْلِ مَكَّةَ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ، فَقَالَ جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلامُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، هَلْ تُحِبُّ أَنْ أُرِيَكَ آيَةً؟، قَالَ :" نَعَمْ، فَنَظَرَ إِلَى شَجَرَةٍ مِنْ وَرَائِهِ "، فَقَالَ : ادْعُ بِهَا، فَدَعَا بِهَا، فَجَاءَتْ وَقَامَتْ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ، فَقَالَ : مُرْهَا فَلْتَرْجِعْ، فَأَمَرَهَا فَرَجَعَتْ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " حَسْبِي حَسْبِي "

Then Gabriel, peace be upon him, said: O Messenger of God, would you like me to show you a sign? He said: “Yes.” Then he looked at a tree behind him, and said: Pray by it. So he called for her, and she came and stood before him. He said: Tell her to come back. So he commanded her and she came back. Then the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “It is sufficient for me.” "It's enough for me"
