أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْبَخْتَرِيِّ ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رِضْوَانُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ، قَالَ :" يَا بَرْدَهَا عَلَى الْكَبِدِ أَنْ تَقُولَ لِمَا لَا تَعْلَمُ : اللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ "

Abu Nu`aym told us, Sharik told us, on the authority of Ata’ ibn al-Sa’ib, on the authority of Abu al-Bakhtari, on the authority of Ali, may God be pleased with him, he said: “Oh It is cool for the liver to say about what you do not know: God knows best.”
