Sunan al-Darimi – سنن الدارمي – Hadith #3031

أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَشْعَثُ ، عَنْ الشَّعْبِيِّ ، وَابْنِ سِيرِينَ ، أَنَّ ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، كَانَ إِذَا حَدَّثَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْأَيَّامِ، تَرَبَّدَ وَجْهُهُ، وَقَالَ :" هَكَذَا أَوْ نَحْوَهُ، هَكَذَا أَوْ نَحْوَهُ "
Yazid bin Harun told us, Ash'ath told us, on the authority of Al-Sha'bi, and Ibn Sirin, that Ibn Masoud, may God be pleased with him, was On the authority of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, during the days, his face became pale, and he said: “Thus or something like that, like this or something like that.”
