Al-Hasan bin Arafa told us, Al-Mubarak bin Saeed told us, on the authority of his brother Sufyan Al-Thawri, on the authority of Imran Al-Manqari, he said: I told Al-Hasan One day about something, he said to him: O Abu Saeed, that is not what the jurists say, so he said: “Woe to you! I have never seen you as a jurist. Rather, the ascetic jurist in This world, the one who desires the Hereafter, the one who sees the matter of his religion, the one who perseveres in worshiping his Lord.”
