أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَسَّانَ ، عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ الصَّلْتِ بْنِ رَاشِدٍ ، أَنَّه سَأَلَ سَلْمُ بْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ طَاوُسًا عَنْ مَسْأَلَةٍ فَلَمْ يُجِبْهُ، فَقِيلَ لَهُ : هَذَا سَلْمُ بْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ، قَالَ :" ذَلِكَ أَهْوَنُ لَهُ عَلَيَّ "

Yahya bin Hassan told us, on the authority of Hammad bin Zaid, on the authority of Al-Salt bin Rashid, that he asked Sallam bin Qutaybah Tawus about the question of a movie. He answered, and it was said to him: This is Sallam bin Qutaybah. He said: “That is easier for him than I am.”
