أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ السَّعْدِيُّ ، أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا الْعَوَّامُ بْنُ حَوْشَبٍ أَبُو عِيسَى الشَّيْبَانِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ عَوْفٍ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ : أَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " أَنْلَا يَغْلِبُونَا عَلَى ثَلَاثٍ : أَنْ نَأْمُرَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ، وَنَنْهَى عَنْ الْمُنْكَرِ، وَنُعَلِّمَ النَّاسَ السُّنَنَ "

Ali bin Hajar Al-Saadi informed us, Yazid bin Harun informed us, Al-Awwam bin Hawshab Abu Issa Al-Shaybani informed us, he told us Al-Qasim bin Awf Al-Shaybani, on the authority of Abu Dharr, may God be pleased with him, said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, commanded us “not to defeat us by three.” “To enjoin what is right, forbid what is wrong, and teach people the Sunnah.”
