    أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّلْتِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَنْصُورُ بْنُ أَبِي الْأَسْوَدِ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاق الشَّيْبَانِيِّ ، عَنْ حَمَّادٍ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قَالَ :" يَتْبَعُ الرَّجُلَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهِ ثَلَاثُ خِلَالٍ : صَدَقَةٌ تَجْرِي بَعْدَهُ، وَصَلَاةُ وَلَدِهِ عَلَيْهِ، وَعِلْمٌ أَفْشَاهُ يُعْمَلُ بِهِ بَعْدَهُ "
    Muhammad bin Al-Salt told us, Mansour bin Abi Al-Aswad told us, on the authority of Abu Ishaq Al-Shaybani, on the authority of Hammad, on the authority of Ibrahim, he said: Three things follow a man after his death: charity that is done after him, his son’s prayers upon him, and knowledge of what he has revealed that is done after him.”

  • Sunan al-Darimi – سنن الدارمي – Hadith #3315

    أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْلَى ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ هُوَ ابْنُ إِسْحَاق ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَمِّهِ، قَالَ : بَلَغَنِي أَنَّ سَلْمَانَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، كَتَبَ إِلَى أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ :" إِنَّ الْعِلْمَ كَالْيَنَابِيعِ يَغْشَاهُنَّ النَّاسُ، فَيَخْتَلِجُهُ هَذَا وَهَذَا، فَيَنْفَعُ اللَّهُ بِهِ غَيْرَ وَاحِدٍ، وَإِنَّ حِكْمَةً لَا يُتَكَلَّمُ بِهَا كَجَسَدٍ لَا رُوحَ فِيهِ، وَإِنَّ عِلْمًا لَا يُخْرَجُ كَكَنْزٍ لَا يُنْفَقُ مِنْهُ، وَإِنَّمَا مَثَلُ الْعَالِمِ كَمَثَلِ رَجُلٍ حَمَلَ سِرَاجًا فِي طَرِيقٍ مُظْلِمٍ يَسْتَضِيءُ بِهِ مَنْ مَرَّ بِهِ، وَكُلٌّ يَدْعُو لَهُ بِالْخَيْرِ "
    Ya’la told us, Muhammad, who is Ibn Ishaq, told us, on the authority of Musa bin Yasar, his uncle, who said: I was informed that Salman, may God be pleased with him, wrote to Abu al-Darda’, may God be pleased with him, said: “Knowledge is like springs, people overflow with them, and this and that mix them, and God benefits more than one person through them. Wisdom that is not spoken is like a body without a soul, and knowledge that is not brought forth is like a treasure that is not spent, but rather the likeness of a scholar is like a man who has carried “A lamp on a dark path, illuminating whoever passes by it, and everyone prays for good for him.”

    أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو شِهَابٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ ، عَنْ أَبِي عِيَاضٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" مَثَلُ عِلْمٍ لَا يُنْتَفَعُ بِهِ، كَمَثَلِ كَنْزٍ لَا يُنْفَقُ مِنْهُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ "
    Ahmad bin Abdullah told us, Abu Shihab told us, Ibrahim told me, on the authority of Abu Iyad, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “The example of knowledge that does not benefit from it is like a treasure that is not spent in the path of God.”

    أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ خَبَّابٍ ، عَنْ حُصَيْنِ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ ، عَنْ سَلْمَانَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ :" عِلْمٌ لَا يُقَالُ بِهِ، كَكَنْزٍ لَا يُنْفَقُ مِنْهُ "
    Muhammad bin Yusuf informed us, on the authority of Sufyan, on the authority of Al-Amash, on the authority of Salih bin Khabab, on the authority of Husayn bin Uqba, on the authority of Salman, may God be pleased with him. About him, he said: “Knowledge that cannot be said about, like a treasure that cannot be spent.”

    أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ الضُّرَيْسِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ سُفْيَانَ ، يَقُولُ :" مَنْ تَرَأَّسَ سَرِيعًا، أَضَرَّ بِكَثِيرٍ مِنْ الْعِلْمِ، وَمَنْ لَمْ يَتَرَأَّسْ، طَلَبَ وَطَلَبَ حَتَّى يَبْلُغَ "
    Muhammad bin Humayd told us, Yahya bin Al-Dharais told us, he said: I heard Sufyan, saying: “Whoever leads quickly, will harm many people.” Knowledge, and whoever has not mastered it, seeks and seeks until he attains it.”

    أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ الزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ الْخِرِّيتِ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، قَالَ : كَانَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ" يَضَعُ فِي رِجْلَيَّ الْكَبْلَ، وَيُعَلِّمُنِي الْقُرْآنَ وَالسُّنَنَ "
    Abu Al-Numan told us, Hammad bin Zaid told us, on the authority of Al-Zubayr bin Al-Kharait, on the authority of Ikrimah, he said: He was Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with him. He puts shackles on my feet and teaches me the Qur’an and the Sunnahs.”

    أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي خَلَفٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَجْمَعُ بَنِيهِ، فَيَقُولُ : " يَا بَنِيَّ ،تَعَلَّمُوا، فَإِنْ تَكُونُوا صِغَارَ قَوْمٍ، فَعَسَى أَنْ تَكُونُوا كِبَارَ آخَرِينَ، وَمَا أَقْبَحَ عَلَى شَيْخٍ يُسْأَلُ لَيْسَ عِنْدَهُ عِلْمٌ "
    Muhammad bin Ahmad bin Abi Khalaf told us, Anas bin Iyadh told us, on the authority of Hisham bin Urwa, on the authority of his father, that he used to collect His sons, and he says: “My sons, learn. If you are the smallest of people, perhaps you will be great among others, and how ugly it is for an old man to be asked if he does not have science "

    أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ إِسْحَاق ، عَنْ جَرِيرٍ ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ ، قَالَ :" لَا يَتَعَلَّمُ مَنْ اسْتَحْيَا وَاسْتَكْبَرَ "

    أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ إِسْحَاق ، عَنْ جَرِيرٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ :" مَنْ رَقَّ وَجْهُهُ، رَقَّ عِلْمُهُ "، أَخْبَرَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ الشَّعْبِيِّ ، قَالَ : " مَنْ رَقَّ وَجْهُهُ، رَقَّ عِلْمُهُ "، وَعَنْ ضَمْرَةَ ، عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ عُمَرَ L2436 ، قَالَ : قَالَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ : " مَنْ رَقَّ وَجْهُهُ، رَقَّ عِلْمُهُ "
    Ibrahim bin Ishaq told us, on the authority of Jarir, he said: Ibrahim said: “Whoever softens his face, his knowledge will be gentle.” Waki’ told us, on the authority of his father, On the authority of Al-Sha’bi, he said: “Whoever purifies his face, his knowledge will be purified,” and on the authority of Damra, on the authority of Hafs bin Omar L2436, he said: Omar bin Al-Khattab said: “Whoever His face softened, his knowledge softened.”

    أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ الْمُكْتِبُ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَامِرُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ ، عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، قَالَ :" الْعِلْمُ خَزَائِنُ، وَتَفْتَحُهَا الْمَسْأَلَةُ "
    Muhammad bin Hatim Al-Muttab told us, Aamir bin Salih told us, Yunus told us, on the authority of Ibn Shihab, he said: “Knowledge is a storehouse. And the issue opens.”
