أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ عَمِّهْ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ رِضْوَانُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ، يَقُولُ :" قَيِّدُوا الْعِلْمَ بِالْكِتَابِ "

Abu Asim told us, Ibn Jurayj told me, on the authority of Abdul Malik bin Abdullah bin Abi Sufyan, on the authority of his uncle Amr bin Abi Sufyan, that he heard Omar bin Al-Khattab, may God be pleased with him, say: “Restrict knowledge to the Book.”

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا شَرِيكٌ ، عَنْ لَيْثٍ ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، قَالَ :" مَا يُرَغِّبُنِي فِي الْحَيَاةِ إِلَّا الصَّادِقَةُ وَالْوَهْطُ، فَأَمَّا الصَّادِقَةُ، فَصَحِيفَةٌ كَتَبْتُهَا مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَأَمَّا الْوَهْطُ، فَأَرْضٌ تَصَدَّقَ بِهَا عَمْرُو بْنُ الْعَاصِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ كَانَ يَقُومُ عَلَيْهَا "

Muhammad bin Saeed told us, Sharik told us, on the authority of Laith, on the authority of Mujahid, on the authority of Abdullah bin Amr, he said: “Whatever desires me in life Except for the honesty and the waht, as for the truthful one, it is a document I wrote from the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and as for the waht, it is land given in charity. Amr bin Al-Aas, may God be pleased with him, was in charge of it.”

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا شَرِيكٌ ، عَنْ طَارِقِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، قَالَ : كُنْتُ أَسْمَعُ مِنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، وَابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا" الْحَدِيثَ بِاللَّيْلِ فَأَكْتُبُهُ فِي وَاسِطَةِ الرَّحْلِ "

Muhammad bin Saeed told us, Sharik told us, on the authority of Tariq bin Abdul Rahman, on the authority of Saeed bin Jubayr, he said: I was hearing from Ibn Omar and Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with them, “The hadith is about the night, so I write it down in the vehicle of a saddle.”

أَخْبَرَنَا مَخْلَدُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ حُدَيْرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي مِجْلَزٍ ، عَنْ بَشِيرِ بْنِ نَهِيكٍ ، قَالَ : كُنْتُ أَكْتُبُ مَا أَسْمَعُ مِنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، فَلَمَّا أَرَدْتُ أَنْ أُفَارِقَهُ،" أَتَيْتُهُ بِكِتَابِهِ، فَقَرَأْتُهُ عَلَيْهِ، وَقُلْتُ لَهُ : هَذَا سَمِعْتُ مِنْكَ؟، قَالَ : نَعَمْ "

Mukhlid bin Malik told us, Muadh told us, Imran bin Hudayr told us, on the authority of Abu Majliz, on the authority of Bashir bin Nahik, he said: I was I write what I hear from Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him. أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عِيسَى ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ ، عَنْ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ جَابِرٍ ، أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ أَبَا أُمَامَةَ الْبَاهِلِيَّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ عَنْ كِتَابِ الْعِلْمِ، فَقَالَ :" لَا بَأْسَ بِذَلِكَ "

Ahmad bin Issa told us, Ibn Wahb told us, on the authority of Muawiyah, on the authority of Al-Hasan bin Jabir, that he asked Abu Umamah Al-Bahili, may God be pleased with him. On the authority of the Book of Knowledge, he said: “There is no problem with that.”

أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ أَبَانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ إِدْرِيسَ ، عَنْ مَهْدِيِّ بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ ، عَنْ سَلْمٍ الْعَلَوِيِّ ، قَالَ :" رَأَيْتُ أَبَانَ يَكْتُبُ عِنْدَ أَنَسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ فِي سَبُّورَةٍ "

Ismail bin Aban told us, Ibn Idris told us, on the authority of Mahdi bin Maymun, on the authority of Salam al-Alawi, he said: “I saw Aban writing With Anas, may God be pleased with him, on a blackboard.

أَخْبَرَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ، حَدَّثَنِي ثُمَامَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ : أَنَّ أَنَسًا رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ لِبَنِيهِ : " يَا بَنِيَّقَيِّدُوا هَذَا الْعِلْمَ "

Muslim bin Ibrahim told us, Abdullah bin Al-Muthanna told us, Thumama bin Abdullah bin Anas told me: Anas, may God be pleased with him, told me About him he used to say to his sons: “Oh sons, hide this knowledge.”

أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَجِيدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا سَوَادَةُ بْنُ حَيَّانَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنَ قُرَّةَ أَبَا إِيَاسٍ ، يَقُولُ : كَانَ يُقَالُ :" مَنْ لَمْ يَكْتُبْ عِلْمَهُ، لَمْ يُعَدَّ عِلْمُهُ عِلْمًا "

Ubayd Allah bin Abdul Majeed told us, Sawada bin Hayyan told us, he said: I heard Muawiyah bin Qurra Abu Iyas, saying: It was said: “Whoever does not write down his knowledge, his knowledge is not considered knowledge.”

أَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمَلِيحِ ، قَالَ :" يَعِيبُونَ عَلَيْنَا الْكِتَابَ، وَقَدْ قَالَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى : # عِلْمُهَا عِنْدَ رَبِّي فِي كِتَابٍ سورة طه آية 52 # "

Suleiman bin Harb told us, Hammad bin Zaid told us, on the authority of Ayoub, on the authority of Abu Al-Malih, he said: “They blame the book on us, and God said God Almighty: # Its knowledge is with my Lord in the Book of Surat Taha, Verse 52 # “

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَسَّانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، قَالَ : كَتَبَ عُمَرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ إِلَى أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ :" أَنْ انْظُرُوا حَدِيثَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَاكْتُبُوهُ، فَإِنِّي قَدْ خِفْتُ دُرُوسَ الْعِلْمِ وَذَهَابَ أَهْلِهِ "

Yahya bin Hassan told us, Abdul Aziz bin Muslim told us, on the authority of Abdullah bin Dinar, he said: Omar bin Abdul Aziz wrote to The people of Medina: “Look at the hadith of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and write it down, for I fear the lessons of knowledge and the departure of its people.”
