أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي ضَمْرَةَ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، قَالَ : كَتَبَ عُمَرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ رَحِمَهُ الله إِلَى أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ :" أَنْ اكْتُبْ إِلَيَّ بِمَا ثَبَتَ عِنْدَكَ مِنْ الْحَدِيثِ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَبِحَدِيثِ عَمْرَةَ فَإِنِّي قَدْ خَشِيتُ دُرُوسَ الْعِلْمِ وَذَهَابَهُ "

Ismail bin Ibrahim Abu Muammar told us, on the authority of Abu Damra, on the authority of Yahya bin Saeed, on the authority of Abdullah bin Dinar, he said: He wrote Omar bin Abdul Aziz, may God have mercy on him, to Abu Bakr bin Muhammad bin Amr bin Hazm: “Write to me with what is proven to you of the hadith about The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and according to the hadith of ‘Umrah, I feared the lessons of knowledge and its disappearance.”

أَخْبَرَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاق ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ أَبِي قَبِيلٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَمْرٍو رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ : بَيْنَمَا نَحْنُ حَوْلَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَكْتُبُ إِذْ سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : أَيُّ الْمَدِينَتَيْنِ تُفْتَحُ أَوَّلًا : قُسْطَنْطِينِيَّةُ ، أَوْ رُومِيَّةُ ؟، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" لَا، بَلْ مَدِينَةُ هِرَقْلَ أَوَّلًا "

Uthman bin Muhammad told us, Yahya bin Ishaq told us, Yahya bin Ayyub told us, on the authority of Abu Qabil, he said: I heard Abdullah Ibn Amr, may God be pleased with him, said: While we were around the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, writing, when the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, was asked: Which of the two cities will be conquered first: Constantinople or Rome? The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “No, but the city of Heraclius first.”

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ ، حَدَّثَنِي خَالِدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي هِلَالٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْوَاحِدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي مُخْبِرٌ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا، أَنَّهُ أَتَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، إِنِّي أُرِيدُ أَنْ أَرْوِيَ مِنْ حَدِيثِكَ، فَأَرَدْتُ أَنْ أَسْتَعِينَ بِكِتَابِ يَدِي مَعَ قَلْبِي إِنْ رَأَيْتَ ذَلِكَ؟، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنْ كَانَ قَالَهُ :" عِ حَدِيثِي، ثُمَّ اسْتَعِنْ بِيَدِكَ مَعَ قَلْبِكَ "

Abdullah bin Salih told us, Al-Layth told me, Khaled bin Yazid told me, on the authority of Saeed bin Abi Hilal, on the authority of Abdul Wahid bin Qais, he said: An informant told me, on the authority of Abdullah bin Amr, may God be pleased with them both, that he came to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and said: Oh Messenger of God, I want to narrate from your hadith, so I wanted to seek help from the book I have in my hand and in my heart, if you see that? Then the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said Peace be upon him, if he said: “Follow my hadith, then use your hand with your heart.”

أَخْبَرَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْأَخْنَسِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ يُوسُفَ بْنِ مَاهَكَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، قَالَ : كُنْتُ أَكْتُبُ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ أَسْمَعُهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُرِيدُ حِفْظَهُ، فَنَهَتْنِي قُرَيْشٌ، وَقَالُوا : تَكْتُبُ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ سَمِعْتَهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَشَرٌ يَتَكَلَّمُ فِي الْغَضَبِ وَالرِّضَاءِ؟ فَأَمْسَكْتُ عَنْ الْكِتَابِ، فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَأَوْمَأَ بِإِصْبَعِهِ إِلَى فِيهِ، وَقَالَ :" اكْتُبْ، فَوَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ، مَا خَرَجَ مِنْهُ إِلَّا حَقٌّ "

Musaddad told us, Yahya told us, on the authority of Ubayd Allah bin Al-Akhnas, he said: Al-Walid bin Abdullah told me, on the authority of Yusuf bin Mahak, On the authority of Abdullah bin Amr, he said: I used to write down everything I heard from the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, that I wanted to memorize, but the Quraysh forbade me. They said: You write down everything you heard from the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, is a human being who speaks in anger. And contentment? So I withdrew the letter, and mentioned that to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and he pointed with his finger to his mouth and said: “Write, by which My soul is in His hand, nothing has come out of it except what is true.”

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ وَهْبِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ ، عَنْ أَخِيهِ ، سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، يَقُولُ :" لَيْسَ أَحَدٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَكْثَرَ حَدِيثًا عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنِّي، إِلَّا مَا كَانَ مِنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، فَإِنَّهُ كَانَ يَكْتُبُ، وَلَا أَكْتُبُ "

Muhammad bin Ahmad told us, Sufyan told us, on the authority of Amr, on the authority of Wahb bin Munabbih, on the authority of his brother, Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, heard On his authority, he says: “None of the Companions of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, narrated more on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, than me, except for those who Abdullah bin Amr, for he used to write, but I do not write.”

أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيل ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ شُبْرُمَةَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ الشَّعْبِيَّ ، يَقُولُ :" مَا كَتَبْتُ سَوْدَاءَ فِي بَيْضَاءَ، وَلَا اسْتَعَدْتُ حَدِيثًا مِنْ إِنْسَانٍ "

Malik bin Ismail told us, Muhammad bin Fudayl told us, on the authority of Ibn Shubrumah, he said: I heard Al-Sha’abi saying: “I did not write black in White, and I have not recovered any hadith from a human being.”

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي الْمُغِيرَةِ ، عَنْ عَفَّاقٍ الْمُحَارِبِيِّ L5652 ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، يَقُولُ :" إِنَّ نَاسًا يَسْمَعُونَ كَلَامِي، ثُمَّ يَنْطَلِقُونَ فَيَكْتُبُونَهُ، وَإِنِّي لَا أُحِلُّ لِأَحَدٍ أَنْ يَكْتُبَ إِلَّا كِتَابَ اللَّهِ "

Abu Nu`aym told us, Israel told us, on the authority of Uthman ibn Abi al-Mughirah, on the authority of Afaq al-Muharbi L5652, on the authority of his father, he said: I heard Ibn Masoud, may God be pleased with him, said: “People hear my words, then they go and write them down, and I do not permit anyone to write except “The Book of God”

أَخْبَرَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ عَدِيٍّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ هُوَ ابْنُ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ :" أَنَّ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ كَتَبُوا كِتَابًا، فَتَبِعُوهُ وَتَرَكُوا التَّوْرَاةَ "

Zakaria bin Adi told us, Ubaid Allah told us, he is Ibn Amr, on the authority of Abd al-Malik bin Umayr, on the authority of Abu Burdah, on the authority of Abu Musa May God be pleased with him: “Indeed, the Children of Israel wrote a book, so they followed it and abandoned the Torah.”

أَخْبَرَنَا سَهْلُ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ الْأَشْعَثِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، وَكَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ : رَأَيْتُ مَعَ رَجُلٍ صَحِيفَةً فِيهَا : سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ، وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ، وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، فَقُلْتُ لَهً : أَنْسِخْنِيهَا، فَكَأَنَّهُ بَخِلَ بِهَا، ثُمَّ وَعَدَنِي أَنْ يُعْطِيَنِيهَا، فَأَتَيْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ فَإِذَا هِيَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ، فَقَالَ :" إِنَّ مَا فِي هَذَا الْكِتَابِ بِدْعَةٌ، وَفِتْنَةٌ، وَضَلَالَةٌ، وَإِنَّمَا أَهْلَكَ مَنْ كَانَ قَبْلَكُمْ هَذَا وَأَشْبَاهُ هَذَا، إِنَّهُمْ كَتَبُوهَا، فَاسْتَلَذَّتْهَا أَلْسِنَتُهُمْ، وَأُشْرِبَتْهَا قُلُوبُهُمْ، فَأَعْزِمُ عَلَى كُلِّ امْرِئٍ يَعْلَمُ بِمَكَانِ كِتَابٍ إِلَّا دَلَّ عَلَيْهِ، وَأُقْسِمُ بِاللَّهِ، قَالَ شُعْبَةُ : فَأَقْسَمَ بِاللَّهِ؟، قَالَ : أَحْسَبُهُ أَقْسَمَ : لَوْ أَنَّهَا ذُكِرَتْ لَهُ بِدَيْرٍ الْهِنْدِ نَرَاهُ يَعْنِي مَكَانًا بِالْكُوفَةِ بَعِيدًا، لآَتَيْتُهُ وَلَوْ مَشْيًا "

Sahl bin Hammad told us, Shu’bah told us, on the authority of Al-Ash’ath, on the authority of his father, and he was one of Abdullah’s companions. He said: I saw him with a man A page containing: Glory be to God, praise be to God, there is no god but God, and God is great. So I said to him: Copy it, as if he was stingy with it. Then he promised me that he would give it to me, so I went to Abdullah, may God be pleased with him, and behold, it was in his hands. He said: “What is in this book is an innovation. And temptation, and misguidance, but those before you were destroyed by this and the like. They wrote it down, and their tongues took pleasure in it. And their hearts drank it, so I resolve that every person who knows the location of a book should point to it, and I swear by God. Shu’bah said: So he swore By God? He said: I think he swore: If Deir al-Hind had been mentioned to him – we see him meaning a place in Kufa far away – I would have come to him, even on foot.

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ جَعْدَةَ ، قَالَ : أُتِيَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِكَتِفٍ فِيهِ كِتَابٌ، فَقَالَ :" كَفَى بِقَوْمٍ ضَلَالًا أَنْ يَرْغَبُوا عَمَّا جَاءَ بِهِ نَبِيُّهُمْ إِلَى مَا جَاءَ بِهِ نَبِيٌّ غَيْرُ نَبِيِّهِمْ، أَوْ كِتَابٌ غَيْرُ كِتَابِهِمْ "، فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ G : # أَوَلَمْ يَكْفِهِمْ أَنَّا أَنْزَلْنَا عَلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ يُتْلَى عَلَيْهِمْ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَرَحْمَةً وَذِكْرَى لِقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ سورة العنكبوت آية 51 #
