Yunus bin Muhammad told us, Jarir told us, meaning: Ibn Hazim, he said: I heard Abd al-Malik bin Umair, Iyad bin Laqit told me, on the authority of Abu Rimthah said: I came to Medina with a son of mine, and we had not seen the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace.
So I went to him, and the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, came out wearing two green clothes.
When I saw him, I recognized him by his description, so I went to him, and he said: “Who is this who is with you?”
I said: My son, by the Lord of the Kaaba. He said: Your son? I said: I bear witness to him.
He said: “This son of yours will not commit a crime against you, and you should not commit a crime against him.”
