  • Sunan al-Darimi – سنن الدارمي – Hadith #1933

    حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، قَالَ : عَدِيُّ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ أَخْبَرَنِي، قالَ : سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ يَزِيدَ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ الْبَدْرِيِّ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ :" الْمُسْلِمُ إِذَا أَنَفْقَ نَفَقَةً عَلَى أَهْلِهِ وَهُوَ يَحْتَسِبُهَا، فَهِيَ لَهُ صَدَقَةٌ "
    Abu Al-Walid told us, Shu’bah told us, he said: Adi bin Thabit told me, he said: I heard Abdullah bin Yazid speaking, on the authority of Abu Masoud Al-Badri, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, that he said: “If a Muslim spends on his family while expecting it, then it is charity for him.”

    أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُمَارَةُ بْنُ الْقَعْقَاعِ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَارِثُ الْعُكْلِيُّ ، عَنْ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ جَرِيرٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُجَيٍّ ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ : أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ :" إِنَّ الْمَلَكَ لَا يَدْخُلُ بَيْتًا فِيهِ كَلْبٌ، وَلَا صُورَةٌ، وَلَا جُنُبٌ "
    Abu Al-Numan told us, Abd al-Wahid bin Ziyad told us, Amara bin Al-Qaqa’ told us, Al-Harith Al-Ukli told us, on the authority of Abu Zur’ah bin Amr bin Jarir, on the authority of Abdullah bin Naji, on the authority of Ali: The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “The king does not enter a house.” “In it is a dog, nor a picture, nor a genus.”

  • Sunan al-Darimi – سنن الدارمي – Hadith #1931

    أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ :" كَانَ لَنَا ثَوْبٌ فِيهِ تَصَاوِيرُ، فَجَعَلْتُهُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي، فَنَهَانِي أَوْ قَالَتْ : فَكَرِهَهُ ، قَالَتْ : فَجَعَلْتُهُ وَسَائِدَ "
    Saeed bin Amer told us, on the authority of Shu’bah, on the authority of Abd al-Rahman bin al-Qasim, on the authority of his father, he said: Aisha said: “We had a garment It contains pictures, so I placed it in the hands of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, while he was praying, but he forbade me or she said: He hated it, she said: So I made it plain.”

  • Sunan al-Darimi – سنن الدارمي – Hadith #1930

    أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا عِكْرِمَةُ هُوَ : ابْنُ عَمَّارٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي إِيَاسُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ، قَالَ : عَطَسَ رَجُلٌ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ :" يَرْحَمُكَ اللَّهُ ".
    ثُمَّ عَطَسَ أُخْرَى، فَقَالَ : " الرَّجُلُ مَزْكُومٌ "
    Abu Al-Walid told us, Ikrimah told us: He is Ibn Ammar, he said: Iyas bin Salamah told me, he said: My father told me, he said: He sneezed. A man was with the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and he said: “May God have mercy on you.”
    Then he sneezed again and said: “The man has a cold.”

  • Sunan al-Darimi – سنن الدارمي – Hadith #1929

    أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، قَالَ : عَطَسَ رَجُلَانِ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَشَمَّتَ أَوْ سَمَّتَ أَحَدَهُمَا وَلَمْ يُشَمِّتْ الْآخَرَ، فَقِيلَ لَهُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، شَمَّتَّ هَذَا وَلَمْ تُشَمِّتْ الْآخَرَ؟، فَقَالَ :" إِنَّ هَذَا حَمِدَ اللَّهَ، وَإِنَّ هَذَا لَمْ يَحْمَدْ اللَّهَ ".
    قَالَ عَبْد اللَّهِ : سُلَيْمَانُ هُوَ : التَّيْمِيُّ
    Ahmad bin Abdullah told us, Zuhair told us, on the authority of Sulaiman, on the authority of Anas, who said: Two men sneezed in the presence of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. So she smelled or named one of them and he did not smell the other, so he was told: O Messenger of God, did you smell this and did not smell the other? Then he said: “This one is praised.” God, and this does not thank God.”
    Abdullah said: Suleiman is: Al-Taymi.

    أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى ، عَنْ أَخِيهِ عِيسَى ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى ، عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ :" الْعَاطِسُ يَقُولُ : الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ عَلَى كُلِّ حَالٍ.
    وَيَقُولُ الَّذِي يُشَمِّتُهُ : يَرْحَمُكُمْ اللَّهُ، وَيَرُدُّ عَلَيْهِ : يَهْدِيكُمُ اللَّهُ وَيُصْلِحُ بَالَكُمْ "
    Saeed bin Amir told us, on the authority of Shu’bah, on the authority of Muhammad bin Abdul Rahman bin Abi Laila, on the authority of his brother Issa, on the authority of his father Abd Al-Rahman bin Abi Laila, on the authority of Abu Ayyub Al-Ansari, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “The one who sneezes says: Praise be to God in every condition.”
    And the one who smells him says: May God have mercy on you, and he responds to him: May God guide you and put your mind at ease.”

    حَدَّثَنَا يَعْلَى بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ يَعْنِي : ابْنَ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هَاشِمٍ ، عَنْ رُفَيْعٍ : أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَرْزَةَ الْأَسْلَمِيِّ ، قَالَ : لَمَّا كَانَ بِأَخَرَةٍ، كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا جَلَسَ فِي الْمَجْلِسِ فَأَرَادَ أَنْ يَقُومَ، قَالَ :" سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ، أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْكَ ".
    فَقَالُوا : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، إِنَّكَ لَتَقُولُ الْآنَ كَلَامًا، مَا كُنْتَ تَقُولُهُ فِيمَا خَلَا، فَقَالَ : " هَذَا كَفَّارَةٌ لِمَا يَكُونُ فِي الْمَجَالِسِ "
    Ya’la bin Ubaid told us, Hajjaj, meaning: Ibn Dinar, told us, on the authority of Abu Hashim, on the authority of Rafi’: Abu Al-Aliyah, on the authority of Abu Barza Al-Islami said: When he was in the afterlife, whenever the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was sitting in a gathering and wanted to get up, he would say: “Glory be to You.” O God, and with Your praise, I bear witness that there is no god but You, I seek Your forgiveness and I repent to You.”
    They said: O Messenger of God, you are now saying something that you did not say previously. He said: “This is an expiation for what happens in the assemblies.”

    أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى ، عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" إِذَا كُنْتُمْ ثَلَاثَةً، فَلَا يَتَنَاجَى اثْنَانِ دُونَ صَاحِبِهِمَا، فَإِنَّ ذَلِكَ يُحْزِنُهُ "
    Ubayd Allah ibn Musa told us, on the authority of Al-A’mash, on the authority of Abu Wa’il, on the authority of Abdullah, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “If There were three of you, so let two not talk to one another without the other, for that makes him sad.”

  • Sunan al-Darimi – سنن الدارمي – Hadith #1925

    أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي خَلَفٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ الزُّهْرِيَّ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ تَمِيمٍ ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ ، قَالَ : رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" مُسْتَلْقِيًا فِي الْمَسْجِدِ، وَاضِعًا إِحْدَى رِجْلَيْهِ عَلَى الْأُخْرَى "
    Muhammad bin Ahmad bin Abi Khalaf told us, Sufyan told us, he said: I heard Al-Zuhri speaking, on the authority of Abbad bin Tamim, on the authority of his uncle, he said: I saw the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, lying in the mosque, placing one of his legs over the other.

  • Sunan al-Darimi – سنن الدارمي – Hadith #1924

    أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاق ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ : أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَرَّ بِنَاسٍ جُلُوسٍ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ، فَقَالَ :" إِنْ كُنْتُمْ لَا بُدَّ فَاعِلِينَ، فَاهْدُوا السَّبِيلَ، وَأَفْشُوا السَّلَامَ، وَأَعِينُوا الْمَظْلُومَ ".
    قَالَ شُعْبَةُ : لَمْ يَسْمَعْ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ أَبُو إِسْحَاق مِنَ الْبَرَاءِ
    Abu Al-Walid Al-Tayalisi told us, Shu’bah told us, Abu Ishaq told us, on the authority of Al-Bara’: that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, passed by With people of the Ansar sitting, he said: “If you must do something, then guide the way, spread peace, and help the oppressed.”
    Shu’bah said: Abu Ishaq did not hear this hadith from Al-Bara’.
