    حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاق ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عَاصِمَ بْنَ ضَمْرَةَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عَلِيًّا ، يَقُولُ : " إِنَّالْوِتْرَ لَيْسَ بِحَتْمٍ كَالصَّلَاةِ، وَلَكِنَّهُ سُنَّةٌ، فَلَا تَدَعُوهُ "
    Affan told us, Shu’bah told us, on the authority of Abu Ishaq, he said: I heard Asim bin Damra, he said: I heard Ali, saying: “Inal-Witr is not As imperative as prayer, but it is a Sunnah, so do not abandon it.”

    أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَسَّانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سُهَيْلٍ نَافِعِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، أَنَّ أَعْرَابِيًّا جَاءَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثَائِرَ الرَّأْسِ، فَقَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، مَاذَا فَرَضَ اللَّهُ عَلَيَّ مِنْ الصَّلَاةِ؟ قَالَ :" الصَّلَوَاتِ الْخَمْسَ، وَالصِّيَامَ "، فَأَخْبَرَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِشَرَائِعِ الْإِسْلَامِ، فَقَالَ : وَالَّذِي أَكْرَمَكَ لَا أَتَطَوَّعُ شَيْئًا، وَلَا أَنْقُصُ مِمَّا فَرَضَ اللَّهُ عَلَيَّ.
    فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَفْلَحَ وَأَبِيهِ إِنْ صَدَقَ، أَوْ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ وَأَبِيهِ إِنْ صَدَقَ "
    Yahya bin Hassan told us, Ismail bin Jafar told us, on the authority of Abu Suhail Nafi’ bin Malik, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Talha bin Ubaid By God, a Bedouin came to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, with a broken head, and he said: O Messenger of God, what has God made obligatory upon me regarding prayer? He said: “The five daily prayers and fasting.” Then the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, informed him of the laws of Islam, and he said: By the one who honored you, no. I do anything voluntarily, and I do not detract from what God has imposed on me.
    Then the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “He will succeed and his father if he is truthful, or he will enter Paradise and his father if he is truthful.”

    أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ ، أَنَّ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ يَحْيَى بْنِ حَبَّانَ أَخْبَرَهُ، أَنَّ ابْنَ مُحَيْرِيزٍ الْقُرَشِيَّ ثُمَّ الْجُمَحِيَّ أَخْبَرَهُ وَكَانَ يَسْكُنُ بِالشَّامِ ، وَكَانَ أَدْرَكَ مُعَاوِيَةَ ، أَنَّ الْمُخْدَجِيَّ رَجُلٌ مِنْ بَنِي كِنَانَةَ أَخْبَرَهُ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا مِنْ الشَّامِ ، وَكَانَتْ لَهُ صُحْبَةٌ، يُكْنَى أَبَا مُحَمَّدٍ، أَخْبَرَهُ : أَنَّ الْوِتْرَ وَاجِبٌ، فَرَاحَ الْمُخْدَجِيُّ إِلَى عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ لَهُ.
    فَقَالَ عُبَادَةُ : كَذَبَ أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ، سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ :" خَمْسُ صَلَوَاتٍ كَتَبَهُنَّ اللَّهُ عَلَى الْعِبَادِ، مَنْ أَتَى بِهِنَّ لَمْ يُضَيِّعْ مِنْ حَقِّهِنَّ شَيْئًا اسْتِخْفَافًا بِحَقِّهِنَّ، كَانَ لَهُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ عَهْدٌ أَنْ يُدْخِلَهُ الْجَنَّةَ، وَمَنْ لَمْ يَأْتِ بِهِنَّ، جَاءَ وَلَيْسَ لَهُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ عَهْدٌ إِنْ شَاءَ عَذَّبَهُ، وَإِنْ شَاءَ، أَدْخَلَهُ الْجَنَّةَ "
    Yazid bin Harun told us, Yahya bin Saeed Al-Ansari told us, that Muhammad bin Yahya bin Hibban told him, that Ibn Muhayriz Al-Qurashi, then Al-Jumahi told him, and he lived in the Levant, and Muawiyah had realized that Al-Mukhdajji was a man from the Banu Kinanah. He told him that a man from the Levant, with whom he was a companion, nicknamed Abu Muhammad, told him that the Witr prayer is obligatory, so Al-Mukhadji set off to worship him. Ibn al-Samit mentioned that to him.
    Ubadah said: Abu Muhammad lied. I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, say: “Five prayers that God has prescribed for His servants, whoever follows them.” With them, he did not lose anything of their rights by belittling their rights. He had a covenant with God that He would admit him to Paradise, and whoever did not bring them, he came and was not He has a covenant with God that if He wills, He will punish him, and if He wills, He will admit him to Paradise.”

    حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ هُوَ ابْنُ سَعْدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ رَاشِدٍ الزَّوْفِيِّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي مُرَّةَ الزَّوْفِيِّ ، عَنْ خَارِجَةَ بْنِ حُذَافَةَ الْعَدَوِيِّ ، قَالَ : خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ : " إِنَّاللَّهَ قَدْ أَمَدَّكُمْ بِصَلَاةٍ هِيَ خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ مِنْ حُمْرِ النَّعَمِ، جَعَلَهُ لَكُمْ فِيمَا بَيْنَ صَلَاةِ الْعِشَاءِ إِلَى أَنْ يَطْلُعَ الْفَجْرُ "
    Abu Al-Walid Al-Tayalisi narrated to us, Laith Ibn Saad narrated to us, Yazid bin Abi Habib narrated to us, on the authority of Abdullah bin Rashid Al-Zufi. On the authority of Abdullah bin Abi Murrah al-Zufi, on the authority of Kharijah bin Hudhafa al-Adawi, who said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, revolted against us. He said: “Indeed, God has provided you with a prayer that is better for you than red camels. He has placed it for you between the evening prayer until dawn comes.”

    أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ :" مَنْ كَانَ مِنْكُمْ مُصَلِّيًا بَعْدَ الْجُمُعَةِ، فَلْيُصَلِّ بَعْدَهَا أَرْبَعًا ".
    قَالَ أَبُو مُحَمَّد : أُصَلِّي بَعْدَ الْجُمُعَةِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ أَوْ أَرْبَعًا
    Muhammad bin Yusuf told us, Sufyan told us, on the authority of Suhail bin Abi Salih, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him. And he said: “Whoever among you prays after Friday, let him pray four times after that.”
    Abu Muhammad said: I pray two or four rak’ahs after Friday prayer.

    أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي خَلَفٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو يَعْنِي : ابْنَ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " كَانَيُصَلِّي بَعْدَ الْجُمُعَةِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ "
    Muhammad bin Ahmad bin Abi Khalaf told us, Sufyan told us, on the authority of Amr, meaning: Ibn Dinar, on the authority of Ibn Shihab, on the authority of Salem, on the authority of His father, that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, “used to pray two rak’ahs after the Friday prayer.”

    قَالَ رَجُلٌ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، كَيْفَ تُعْرَضُ صَلَاتُنَا عَلَيْكَ وَقَدْ أَرَمْتَ؟ يَعْنِي : بَلِيتَ.
    قَالَ : " إِنَّاللَّهَ حَرَّمَ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ أَنْ تَأْكُلَ أَجْسَادَ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ "
    A man said: O Messenger of God, how can our prayers be presented to you when you have died? It means: worn out.
    He said: “Indeed, God has forbidden the earth to eat the bodies of the prophets.”

    أَخْبَرَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ بْنِ جَابِرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَشْعَثِ الصَّنْعَانِيِّ ، عَنْ أَوْسِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّأَفْضَلَ أَيَّامِكُمْ يَوْمُ الْجُمُعَةِ : فِيهِ خُلِقَ آدَمُ ، وَفِيهِ النَّفْخَةُ، وَفِيهِ الصَّعْقَةُ، فَأَكْثِرُوا عَلَيَّ مِنْ الصَّلَاةِ فِيهِ، فَإِنَّ صَلَاتَكُمْ مَعْرُوضَةٌ عَلَيَّ "
    Othman bin Muhammad told us, Al-Hussein bin Ali told us, on the authority of Abd al-Rahman bin Yazid bin Jabir, on the authority of Abu al-Ash’ath al-San’ani, On the authority of Aws bin Aws, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “The best of your days is Friday: on it Adam was created, and on it The blast, and therein is the thunderbolt, so increase your blessings upon me during it, for your prayers will be presented to me.”

    حَدَّثَنَا يَعْلَى ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ عَبِيدَةَ بْنِ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ الضَّمْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" مَنْ تَرَكَ الْجُمُعَةَ تَهَاوُنًا بِهَا، طَبَعَ اللَّهُ عَلَى قَلْبِهِ "
    Ya’la told us, Muhammad bin Amr told us, on the authority of Ubaidah bin Sufyan, on the authority of Abu Al-Jaad Al-Damri, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said Peace and blessings of God be upon him: “Whoever abandons Friday prayer out of neglect, God will put a seal on his heart.”
