أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ ، قَالَ : " كَانَتْلِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خُطْبَتَانِ يَجْلِسُ بَيْنَهُمَا يَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ وَيُذَكِّرُ النَّاسَ "

Muhammad bin Saeed told us, Abu Al-Ahwas told us, on the authority of Sammak, on the authority of Jabir bin Samra, who said: “The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to Two sermons, between which he sits, recites the Qur’an and reminds the people.”

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " كَانَيَخْطُبُ خُطْبَتَيْنِ وَهُوَ قَائِمٌ، وَكَانَ يَفْصِلُ بَيْنَهُمَا بِجُلُوسٍ "

Musaddad narrated to us, Bishr bin Al-Mufaddal narrated to us, Ubayd Allah narrated to us, on the authority of Nafi’, on the authority of Ibn Umar, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. He used to deliver two sermons while standing, and he would separate them by sitting.”

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ ، قَالَ : " صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَكَانَتْصَلَاتُهُ قَصْدًا وَخُطْبَتُهُ قَصْدًا "

Muhammad bin Saeed told us, Abu Al-Ahwas told us, on the authority of Sammak, on the authority of Jabir bin Samra, who said: “I prayed with the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. So his communications were intentional and his engagement was intentional.”

أَخْبَرَنَا الْعَلَاءُ بْنُ عُصَيْمٍ الْجُعْفِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ أَبْجَرَ ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أبْجَرَ ، عَنْ وَاصِلِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ ، قَالَ : خَطَبَنَا عَمَّارُ بْنُ يَاسِرٍ فَأَبْلَغَ وَأَوْجَزَ، فَقُلْنَا : يَا أَبَا الْيَقْظَانِ، لَوْ كُنْتَ نَفَّسْتَ شَيْئًا؟ قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " إِنَّطُولَ صَلَاةِ الرَّجُلِ، وَقِصَرَ خُطْبَتِهِ مَئِنَّةٌ مِنْ فِقْهِهِ، فَأَطِيلُوا هَذِهِ الصَّلَاةَ، وَاقْصُرُوا هَذِهِ الْخُطَبَ، فَإِنَّ مِنْ الْبَيَانِ لَسِحْرًا "

Al-Alaa bin Usaym Al-Jafi told us, Abdul Rahman bin Abdul-Malik bin Abjar told us, Abu Abdullah bin Abjar told me, On the authority of Wasil ibn Hayyan, on the authority of Abu Wa’il, he said: Ammar ibn Yasir addressed us, and he eloquently and concisely, so we said: O Abu Al-Yaqzan, if Did you breathe something? He said: I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, saying: “Lengthening a man’s prayer and shortening his sermon is a sign of his jurisprudence, so lengthen this.” Prayer, and keep these sermons short, for indeed, part of the statement is magic.”

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، يَقُولُ : دَخَلَ رَجُلٌ الْمَسْجِدَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخْطُبُ، قَالَ : " أَصَلَّيْتَ؟ قَالَ : لَا، قَالَ :" فَصَلِّ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ".
قَالَ أَبُو مُحَمَّد : أَقُولُ بِهِ

Muhammad bin Yusuf told us, Ibn Uyaynah told us, on the authority of Amr bin Dinar, he said: I heard Jabir bin Abdullah, saying: A man entered The mosque is on Friday and the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, is delivering the sermon. He said: “Did you pray?” He said: “No.” He said: “Pray two rak’ahs.”
Abu Muhammad said: I say so

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ ، أَخْبَرَنِي خَالِدٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ يَزِيدَ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي هِلَالٍ ، عَنْ عِيَاضِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : " خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمًافَقَرَأَ ص ، فَلَمَّا مَرَّ بِالسَّجْدَةِ نَزَلَ فَسَجَدَ "

Abdullah bin Salih told us, Al-Layth told me, Khalid, meaning Ibn Yazid, told me, on the authority of Sa’id bin Abi Hilal, on the authority of Iyad bin Abdullah, on the authority of Abu Saeed Al-Khudri, who said: “The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, addressed us one day. He recited the s., and when he passed the prostration, he descended "So he prostrated"

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ الرَّبِيعِ هُوَ ابْنُ صَبِيحٍ الْبَصْرِيُّ ، قَالَ : رَأَيْتُ الْحَسَنَ " يُصَلِّي رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَالْإِمَامُ يَخْطُبُ ".
وَقَالَ الْحَسَنُ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" إِذَا جَاءَ أَحَدُكُمْ وَالْإِمَامُ يَخْطُبُ، فَلْيُصَلِّ رَكْعَتَيْنِ خَفِيفَتَيْنِ يَتَجَوَّزُ فِيهِمَا ".
قَالَ أَبُو مُحَمَّد : أَقُولُ بِهِ

Muhammad bin Yusuf told us, Sufyan told us, on the authority of Al-Rabi’, he is Ibn Subaih Al-Basri, he said: I saw Al-Hasan praying two rak’ahs and the imam "He gets engaged."
Al-Hasan said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “If one of you comes and the imam is delivering the sermon, let him pray two light rak’ahs, and he will pass. "In both of them."
Abu Muhammad said: I say so

أَخْبَرَنَا صَدَقَةُ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ ، عَنْ عِيَاضِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : جَاءَ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ وَمَرْوَانُ يَخْطُبُ،" فَقَامَ يُصَلِّي رَكْعَتَيْنِ، فَأَتَاهُ الْحَرَسُ يَمْنَعُونَهُ، فَقَالَ : مَا كُنْتُ أَتْرُكُهُمَا وَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَأْمُرُ بِهِمَا "

Sadaqa told us, Sufyan told us, on the authority of Ibn Ajlan, on the authority of Iyadh bin Abdullah, who said: Abu Sa`id and Marwan came to deliver the sermon, so he stood up He was praying two rak'ahs, but the guards came to him and prevented him, so he said: I would not leave them when I saw the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, ordering them to be done.

حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ :" إِذَا جَاءَ أَحَدُكُمْ وَالْإِمَامُ يَخْطُبُ أَوْ قَدْ خَرَجَ، فَلْيُصَلِّ رَكْعَتَيْنِ "

Hashim bin Al-Qasim told us, Shu’bah told us, on the authority of Amr bin Dinar, he said: I heard Jabir bin Abdullah speaking, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. He, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “If one of you comes while the imam is delivering the sermon or has left, let him pray two rak’ahs.”

حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" إِذَا قُلْتَ لِصَاحِبِكَ : أَنْصِتْ، وَالْإِمَامُ يَخْطُبُ فَقَدْ لَغَوْتَ ".
أَخْبَرَنَا الْمُعَلَّى بْنُ أَسَدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، مِثْلَهُ

Khalid bin Mukhlid told us, Malik told us, on the authority of Al-Zuhri, on the authority of Saeed, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said He said: “If you say to your friend: Listen, while the imam is giving the sermon, then you have gone astray.”
