حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ ، حَدَّثَنِي يُونُسُ ، عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ أَيْضًا : أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ كَانَ إِذَا رَأَى أَبَا مُوسَى، قَالَ :" ذَكِّرْنَا رَبَّنَا يَا أَبَا مُوسَى، فَيَقْرَأُ عِنْدَهُ "

Abdullah bin Salih told us, Al-Layth told me, Yunus told me, on the authority of Ibn Shihab, he said: Abu Salamah also told me: that Omar bin Whenever the speaker saw Abu Musa, he would say: “Remind us of our Lord, O Abu Musa,” and it would be recited to him.

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ ، حَدَّثَنِي يُونُسُ ، عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ : أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقُولُ لِأَبِي مُوسَى وَكَانَ حَسَنَ الصَّوْتِ بِالْقُرْآنِ :" لَقَدْ أُوتِيَ هَذَا مِنْ مَزَامِيرِ آلِ دَاوُدَ "

Abdullah bin Saleh told us, Al-Layth told me, Yunus told me, on the authority of Ibn Shihab, he said: Abu Salamah bin Abdul Rahman told me: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to say to Abu Musa, and he had a beautiful voice, reciting the Qur’an: “This was given to me from the Psalms of the family of David.”

Abdullah bin Saleh told us, Al-Layth told us, Yunus told me, on the authority of Ibn Shihab, he said: Abu Salamah told me that Abu Hurairah He said: “God has not given permission to anything, as He has given permission to a prophet who sings of the Qur’an.”

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ ، حَدَّثَنِي عُقَيْلٌ ، عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" لَمْ يَأْذَنْ اللَّهُ لِشَيْءٍ، مَا أَذِنَ لِنَبِيٍّ يَتَغَنَّى بِالْقُرْآنِ "، قَالَ صَاحِبٌ لَهُ : أَرَادَ : يَجْهَرُ بِهِ

Abdullah bin Salih narrated to us, Al-Layth narrated to me, Uqail narrated to me, on the authority of Ibn Shihab, Abu Salama narrated to me, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, that He used to say: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “God did not permit anything. He did not permit a prophet to sing with the Qur’an.” A friend of his said: He meant : He says it out loud

حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ ، أَنْبَأَنَا مِسْعَرٌ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ ، قَالَ : سُئِلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : أَيُّ النَّاسِ أَحْسَنُ صَوْتًا لِلْقُرْآنِ، وَأَحْسَنُ قِرَاءَةً؟ قَالَ :" مَنْ إِذَا سَمِعْتَهُ يَقْرَأُ، أُرِيتَ أَنَّهُ يَخْشَى اللَّهَ "، قَالَ طَاوُسٌ : وَكَانَ طَلْقٌ كَذَلِكَ

Ja'far bin Aoun told us, Mas'ar told us, on the authority of Abdul Karim, on the authority of Tawus, who said: The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, was asked: What are the people? The best reciting the Qur’an, and the best recitation? He said: “When you hear him reciting, you will see that he fears God.” Tawus said: And Talq was like that.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ ، عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي نَهِيكٍ ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ : أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ :" لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ لَمْ يَتَغَنَّ بِالْقُرْآنِ ".
قَالَ ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ : يَسْتَغْنِي، قَالَ أَبُو مُحَمَّد : النَّاسُ يَقُولُونَ : عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي نَهِيكٍ

Abu Al-Walid Al-Tayalisi narrated to us, Laith bin Saad narrated to us, Ibn Abi Mulaika narrated to us, on the authority of Ibn Abi Nahik, on the authority of Saad bin Abi Waqqas: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “He is not among us who does not sing the Qur’an.”
Ibn Uyaynah said: He is self-sufficient. Abu Muhammad said: People say: Ubayd Allah ibn Abi Nahik.

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ رَافِعٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، قَالَ : " أَمَرَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْلَا أَقْرَأَ الْقُرْآنَ فِي أَقَلَّ مِنْ ثَلَاثٍ "

Abdullah bin Saeed told us, Uqba bin Khalid told us, on the authority of Abdul Rahman bin Ziyad, Abdul Rahman bin Rafi’ told me, on the authority of Abdullah bin Amr said: “The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, ordered me not to recite the Qur’an in less than three days.”

حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاق ، عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، قَالَ : قُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، فِي كَمْ أَخْتِمُ الْقُرْآنَ؟ قَالَ :" اخْتِمْهُ فِي شَهْرٍ "، قُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، أنا أُطِيقُ، قَالَ : " اخْتِمْهُ فِي خَمْسة وَعِشْرِينَ "، قُلْتُ : إِنِّي أُطِيقُ، قَالَ : " اخْتِمْهُ فِي عِشْرِينَ "، قُلْتُ : إِنِّي أُطِيقُ، قَالَ : " اخْتِمْهُ فِي خَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ "، قُلْتُ : إِنِّي أُطِيقُ، قَالَ : " اخْتِمْهُ فِي عَشْرٍ "، قُلْتُ : إِنِّي أُطِيقُ، قَالَ : " اخْتِمْهُ فِي خَمْسٍ "، قُلْتُ : إِنِّي أُطِيقُ، قَالَ : " لَا "

Othman bin Muhammad told us, Jarir told us, on the authority of Mutarrif, on the authority of Abu Ishaq, on the authority of Abu Burdah, on the authority of Abdullah bin Amr, he said: I said: O Messenger of God, how should I complete the Qur’an? He said: “Seal it in a month.” I said: O Messenger of God, I am able. He said: “Seal it in twenty-five.” I said: I am able to do so. He said: “Seal it in twenty-five.” I said: I am able. He said: I am able to complete it in fifteen days. I said: I am capable of it. He said: I am able to complete it in ten. I said: I am able to complete it. He said: I am able to complete it in five. “I said: I can bear it.” He said: “No.”

حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، أنبأنا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ : أَنَّهُ كَانَ" يَخْتِمُ الْقُرْآنَ كُلَّ لَيْلَتَيْنِ "

Yazid bin Harun told us, Abd al-Malik told us, on the authority of Sa`id bin Jubayr: He used to “complete the Qur’an every two nights.”

حَدَّثَنَا مُجَاهِدُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْنٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُهَاجِرِ بْنِ مِسْمَارٍ ابْنِ أَخِي بُكَيْرِ بْنِ مِسْمَارٍ، حَدَّثَنِي صَفْوَانُ بْنُ سُلَيْمٍ ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ ، قَالَ :" حَمَلَةُ الْقُرْآنِ عُرَفَاءُ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ "

Mujahid bin Musa told us, Maan told us, Ibrahim bin Muhajir bin Mismar told us, my nephew Bukair bin Mismar told us, Safwan told me Ibn Sulaym, on the authority of Ata’ Ibn Yassar, said: “The bearers of the Qur’an are the soothsayers of the people of Paradise.”
