  • Sunan al-Darimi – سنن الدارمي – Hadith #2567

    حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الرَّقِّيُّ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَبِي أُنَيْسَةَ ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ، يَقُولُ :" اقْرَءُوا الْقُرْآنَ، فَإِنَّهُ نِعْمَ الشَّفِيعُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ "، إِنَّهُ يَقُولُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ : يَا رَبِّ، حَلِّهِ حِلْيَةَ الْكَرَامَةِ، فَيُحَلَّى حِلْيَةَ الْكَرَامَةِ، يَا رَبِّ، اكْسُهُ كِسْوَةَ الْكَرَامَةِ، فَيُكْسَى كِسْوَةَ الْكَرَامَةِ، يَا رَبِّ، أَلْبِسْهُ تَاجَ الْكَرَامَةِ، يَا رَبِّ، ارْضَ عَنْهُ، فَلَيْسَ بَعْدَ رِضَاكَ شَيْءٌ "
    Abdullah bin Ja’far Al-Raqqi told us, on the authority of Ubayd Allah bin Amr, on the authority of Zayd bin Abi Anisa, on the authority of Asim, on the authority of Abu Salih, he said: I heard Abu Hurairah say: “Read the Qur’an, for it is the best intercessor on the Day of Resurrection.” He will say on the Day of Resurrection: O Lord, make it permissible. The garment of honor, so he will be adorned with the garment of honor, O Lord, clothe him with the garment of honor, so he will be clothed with the garment of honor, O Lord, clothe him Crown of honor, O Lord, be pleased with him, for there is nothing after Your satisfaction.”

    حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ، عَنْ مِشْرَحِ بْنِ هَاعَانَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ :" لَوْ جُعِلَ الْقُرْآنُ فِي إِهَابٍ، ثُمَّ أُلْقِيَ فِي النَّارِ، مَا احْتَرَقَ "
    Abdullah bin Yazid told us, Ibn Lahi’ah told us, on the authority of Musharrah bin Haaan, he said: I heard Uqba bin Amir, saying: I heard The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “If the Qur’an had been placed on a piece of cloth, then thrown into the fire, it would not have been burned.”

    حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هَانِئٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَرْبُ بْنُ شَدَّادٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى هُوَ ابْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي حَفْصُ بْنُ عِنَانٍ الْحَنَفِيُّ : أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ كَانَ يَقُولُ :" إِنَّ الْبَيْتَ لَيَتَّسِعُ عَلَى أَهْلِهِ وَتَحْضُرُهُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ وَتَهْجُرُهُ الشَّيَاطِينُ، وَيَكْثُرُ خَيْرُهُ أَنْ يُقْرَأَ فِيهِ الْقُرْآنُ، وَإِنَّ الْبَيْتَ لَيَضِيقُ عَلَى أَهْلِهِ وَتَهْجُرُهُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ، وَتَحْضُرُهُ الشَّيَاطِينُ، وَيَقِلُّ خَيْرُهُ، أَنْ لَا يُقْرَأَ فِيهِ الْقُرْآنُ "
    Muadh bin Hani told us, Harb bin Shaddad told us, Yahya Ibn Abi Kathir told us, Hafs bin Anan Al-Hanafi told me: Abu Hurairah used to say: “The house is large enough for its people, the angels attend it, the devils abandon it, and its goodness is abundant when it is recited in it.” The Qur’an, and indeed the House becomes narrow for its people and the angels abandon it, and the devils attend it, and its goodness is diminished if the Qur’an is not recited in it.”

    حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ قَبِيصَةُ ، أَنْبَأَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ :" تَعَلَّمُوا هَذَا الْقُرْآنَ، فَإِنَّكُمْ تُؤْجَرُونَ بِتِلَاوَتِهِ بِكُلِّ حَرْفٍ عَشْرَ حَسَنَاتٍ، أَمَا إِنِّي لَا أَقُولُ بِ ( الم )، وَلَكِنْ بِأَلِفٍ، وَلَامٍ، وَمِيمٍ، بِكُلِّ حَرْفٍ عَشْرُ حَسَنَاتٍ "
    Abu Amer Qubaisa told us, Sufyan told us, on the authority of Ata’ bin Al-Sa’ib, on the authority of Abu Al-Ahwas, on the authority of Abdullah, he said: “Learn This Qur’an, for reciting it with every letter you will be rewarded with ten good deeds. As for me, I do not say with (M), but with Alif, Lam, and Meem, with every "Ten good deeds"

    أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ خَالِدِ بْنِ حَازِمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مسْلَمَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سِنَانٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاق ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ :" إِنَّ هَذَا الْقُرْآنَ مَأْدُبَةُ اللَّهِ، فَخُذُوا مِنْهُ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ، فَإِنِّي لَا أَعْلَمُ شَيْئًا أَصْفَرَ مِنْ خَيْرٍ، مِنْ بَيْتٍ لَيْسَ فِيهِ مِنْ كِتَابِ اللَّهِ شَيْءٌ، وَإِنَّ الْقَلْبَ الَّذِي لَيْسَ فِيهِ مِنْ كِتَابِ اللَّهِ شَيْءٌ، خَرِبٌ كَخَرَابِ الْبَيْتِ الَّذِي لَا سَاكِنَ لَهُ "
    Abdullah bin Khaled bin Hazim told us, Muhammad bin Maslamah told us, Abu Sinan told us, on the authority of Abu Ishaq, on the authority of Abu Al-Ahwas On the authority of Abdullah, he said: “Indeed, this Qur’an is God’s banquet, so take from it what you are able, for I do not know of anything less good than A house in which there is nothing of the Book of God, and a heart in which there is nothing of the Book of God is as ruined as a house that has no occupant.”

    حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ زُرَارَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ ، عَنْ قَابُوسَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ الَّذِي لَيْسَ فِي جَوْفِهِ مِنْ الْقُرْآنِ شَيْءٌ كَالْبَيْتِ الْخَرِبِ "
    Amr bin Zurarah told us, Jarir told us, on the authority of Qaboos, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Ibn Abbas, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said “The man who does not have anything in his heart is like a ruined house.”
