  • Sunan al-Darimi – سنن الدارمي – Hadith #2737

    حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ ، عَنْ عَنْبسة ، عَنْ لَيْثٍ ، عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ مُصَرِّفٍ ، عَنْ مُصْعَبِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ سَعْدٍ ، قَالَ :" إِذَا وَافَقَ خَتْمُ الْقُرْآنِ أَوَّلَ اللَّيْلِ، صَلَّتْ عَلَيْهِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ حَتَّى يُصْبِحَ، وَإِنْ وَافَقَ خَتْمُهُ آخِرَ اللَّيْلِ، صَلَّتْ عَلَيْهِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ حَتَّى يُمْسِيَ، فَرُبَّمَا بَقِيَ عَلَى أَحَدِنَا الشَّيْءُ، فَيُؤَخِّرَهُ حَتَّى يُمْسِيَ أَوْ يُصْبِحَ ".
    قَالَ أَبُو مُحَمَّد : هَذَا حَسَنٌ عَنْ سَعْدٍ
    Muhammad bin Humaid narrated to us, Harun narrated to us, on the authority of Anbasa, on the authority of Laith, on the authority of Talha bin Musarrif, on the authority of Musab bin Saad, on the authority of Saad, He said: “If he agreed to complete the Qur’an at the beginning of the night, the angels prayed over him until the morning, and if he agreed to complete it at the end of the night, the angels prayed over him.” Until evening, and perhaps one of us has something left to do, so he delays it until evening or morning.”
    Abu Muhammad said: This is hasan on the authority of Saad.

    حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ الْحَكَمِ ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ ، قَالَ : بَعَثَ إِلَيَّ مجاهدٌ، قَالَ :إِنَّمَا دَعَوْنَاكَ أَنَّا أَرَدْنَا أَنْ نَخْتِمَ الْقُرْآنَ، وَإِنَّهُ بَلَغَنَا أَنَّ الدُّعَاءَ يُسْتَجَابُ عِنْدَ خَتْمِ الْقُرْآنِ، قَالَ : فَدَعَوْا بِدَعَوَاتٍ "
    Saeed bin Al-Rabi’ told us, Shu’bah told us, on the authority of Al-Hakam, on the authority of Mujahid, he said: Mujahid sent to me, saying: We only invited you because we wanted to We conclude the Qur’an, and we have learned that supplications are answered upon completion of the Qur’an. He said: So they prayed with supplications.

    حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ حَمَّادٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا قَزَعَةُ بْنُ سُوَيْدٍ ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ الْأَعْرَجِ ، قَالَ :" مَنْ قَرَأَ الْقُرْآنَ ثُمَّ دَعَا، أَمَّنَ عَلَى دُعَائِهِ أَرْبَعَةُ آلَافِ مَلَكٍ "
    Amr bin Hammad told us, Qaza bin Suwayd told us, on the authority of Humaid Al-Araj, who said: “Whoever reads the Qur’an and then supplicates, his supplication will be secure.” "four thousand kings"

    حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ السَّلَامِ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ طَلْحَةَ ، وَعَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ ، قَالَا :" مَنْ قَرَأَ الْقُرْآنَ لَيْلًا أَوْ نَهَارًا، صَلَّتْ عَلَيْهِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ إِلَى اللَّيْلِ "، وَقَالَ الْآخَرُ : " غُفِرَ لَهُ "
    Muhammad bin Saeed told us, Abdul Salam told us, on the authority of Yazid bin Abdul Rahman, on the authority of Talha, and Abdul Rahman bin Al Aswad, they said “Whoever recites the Qur’an day or night, the angels will pray over him until the night,” and the other said: “He will be forgiven.”

    حَدَّثَنَا فَرْوَةُ بْنُ أَبِي الْمَغْرَاءِ ، عَنْ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ الْمُزَنِيِّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ إِسْحَاق ، عَنْ مُحَارِبِ بْنِ دِثَارٍ ، قَالَ :" مَنْ قَرَأَ الْقُرْآنَ عَنْ ظَهْرِ قَلْبِهِ، كَانَتْ لَهُ دَعْوَةٌ فِي الدُّنْيَا، أَوْ فِي الْآخِرَةِ "
    Farwa bin Abi Al-Mughra’ told us, on the authority of Al-Qasim bin Malik Al-Muzani, on the authority of Abdul Rahman bin Ishaq, on the authority of Muharib bin Dathar, he said “Whoever recites the Qur’an by heart will have a calling in this world or in the Hereafter.”

    حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، عَنْ جَرِيرٍ ، عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قَالَ :" إِذَا قَرَأَ الرَّجُلُ الْقُرْآنَ نَهَارًا، صَلَّتْ عَلَيْهِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ حَتَّى يُمْسِيَ، وَإِنْ قَرَأَهُ لَيْلًا، صَلَّتْ عَلَيْهِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ حَتَّى يُصْبِحَ ".
    قَالَ سُلَيْمَانُ : فَرَأَيْتُ أَصْحَابَنَا يُعْجِبُهُمْ أَنْ يَخْتِمُوهُ أَوَّلَ النَّهَارِ، وَأَوَّلَ اللَّيْلِ.
    حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْفِرْيَابِيُّ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، مِثْلَهُ، إِلَّا أَنَّهُ لَيْسَ فِيهِ قَوْلُ سُلَيْمَانَ
    Ibrahim bin Musa told us, on the authority of Jarir, on the authority of Al-A’mash, on the authority of Ibrahim, who said: “If a man recites the Qur’an during the day, she will pray over him.” The angels until the evening, and if he recites it at night, the angels pray over him until the morning.”
    Suleiman said: I saw that our companions liked to seal it at the beginning of the day and the beginning of the night.
    Muhammad bin Yusuf Al-Faryabi told us, on the authority of Sufyan, on the authority of Al-A’mash, on the authority of Ibrahim, similar to it, except that it does not contain the saying of Suleiman.

    حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاق بْنُ عِيسَى ، عَنْ صَالِحٍ الْمُرِّيِّ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ زُرَارَةَ بْنِ أَوْفَى : أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سُئِلَ : أَيُّ الْعَمَلِ أَفْضَلُ؟ قَالَ :الْحَالُّ الْمُرْتَحِلُ "، قِيلَ : وَمَا الْحَالُّ الْمُرْتَحِلُ؟ قَالَ : صَاحِبُ الْقُرْآنِ يَضْرِبُ مِنْ أَوَّلِ الْقُرْآنِ إِلَى آخِرِهِ، وَمِنْ آخِرِهِ إِلَى أَوَّلِهِ، كُلَّمَا حَلَّ، ارْتَحَلَ "
    Ishaq bin Issa told us, on the authority of Salih Al-Marri, on the authority of Qatada, on the authority of Zurara bin Awfa: That the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, was asked: Which Is the work better? He said: The migratory case. It was said: What is the migratory case? He said: The compiler of the Qur’an recites from the beginning of the Qur’an to its end, and from its end to the end. Its beginning, whenever it arrives, it travels.”

    حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ ، عَنْ عَبْدَةَ ، قَالَ :" إِذَا خَتَمَ الرَّجُلُ الْقُرْآنَ بِنَهَارٍ، صَلَّتْ عَلَيْهِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ حَتَّى يُمْسِيَ، وَإِنْ فَرَغَ مِنْهُ لَيْلًا، صَلَّتْ عَلَيْهِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ حَتَّى يُصْبِحَ "
    Abu Al-Mughirah narrated to us, Al-Awza’i narrated to us, on the authority of Abdah, who said: “When a man recites the Qur’an during the day, the angels pray over him until in the evening, and if he finishes it at night, the angels pray over him until the morning.”

    حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ ، قَالَ :" كَانَ أَنَسٌ إِذَا خَتَمَ الْقُرْآنَ، جَمَعَ وَلَدَهُ وَأَهْلَ بَيْتِهِ، فَدَعَا لَهُمْ "

  • Sunan al-Darimi – سنن الدارمي – Hadith #2728

    حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا صَالِحٌ ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ ، قَالَ : كَانَ أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ إِذَا أَشْفَى عَلَى خَتْمِ الْقُرْآنِ، بِاللَّيْلِ بَقَّى مِنْهُ شَيْئًا حَتَّى يُصْبِحَ فَيَجْمَعَ أَهْلَهُ، فَيَخْتِمَهُ مَعَهُمْ "
    Suleiman bin Harb told us, Saleh told us, on the authority of Thabit Al-Bunani, he said: Whenever Anas bin Malik was healed, he would recite the Qur’an. During the night, some of it remained until the morning came and he would gather his family and seal it with them.”
