أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ دُحَيْمٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيل بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لُبَابَةَ ، أَنَّ أَبَا لُبَابَةَ أَخْبَرَهُ، أَنَّهُ لَمَّا رَضِيَ عَنْهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، إِنَّ مِنْ تَوْبَتِي أَنْ أَهْجُرَ دَارَ قَوْمِي، وَأُسَاكِنَكَ، وَأَنْخَلِعَ مِنْ مَالِي صَدَقَةً لِلَّهِ وَلِرَسُولِهِ.
فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" يُجْزِي عَنْكَ الثُّلُثُ "

Abd al-Rahman bin Ibrahim al-Dimashqi Duhaim informed us, Sa`id bin Maslamah told us, on the authority of Ismail bin Umayyah, on the authority of al-Zuhri, on the authority of Abd al-Rahman bin Abi Lubabah, that Abu Lubabah told him, that when the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was pleased with him, he said: Oh Messenger of God, part of my repentance is that I leave my people’s home, live with you, and give up some of my wealth as charity for God and His Messenger.
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “A third will be sufficient for you.”

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ مُرَّةَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ خَيْثَمَةَ ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ ، عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ، قَالَ :" اتَّقُوا النَّارَ وَلَوْ بِشِقِّ تَمْرَةٍ، فَإِنْ لَمْ تَجِدُوا، فَبِكَلِمَةٍ طَيِّبَةٍ "

Abu Al-Walid Al-Tayalisi told us, Shu’bah told us, Amr bin Murrah told me, he said: I heard Khaythamah, on the authority of Adi bin Hatim, on the authority of The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Fear the Fire, even if it is with half a date, and if you do not find it, then with a kind word.”

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ هَيَّاجِ بْنِ عِمْرَانَ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ ، قَالَ : " مَا خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَّاأَمَرَنَا فِيهَا بِالصَّدَقَةِ، وَنَهَانَا عَنْ الْمُثْلَةِ "

Muhammad bin Bashar told us, Muadh bin Hisham told us, my father told us, on the authority of Qatada, on the authority of Al-Hasan, on the authority of Hayaj bin Imran, on the authority of Imran bin Husayn said: “The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, never addressed us except that he commanded us to give charity and forbade us from doing so.”

أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ إِسْحَاق بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، قَالَ : كَانَ أَبُو طَلْحَةَ أَكْثَرَ أَنْصَارِيٍّ بِالْمَدِينَةِ مَالًا نَخْلًا، وَكَانَتْ أَحَبَّ أَمْوَالِهِ إِلَيْهِ بَيْرُحَاءُ ، وَكَانَتْ مُسْتَقْبِلَةَ الْمَسْجِدِ، وَكَانَ يَعْنِي النَّبِي صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَدْخُلُهَا وَيَشْرَبُ مِنْ مَاءٍ فِيهَا طَيِّبٌ.
فَقَالَ أَنَسٌ : فَلَمَّا أُنْزِلَتْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةُ : # لَنْ تَنَالُوا الْبِرَّ حَتَّى تُنْفِقُوا مِمَّا تُحِبُّونَ وَمَا تُنْفِقُوا مِنْ شَيْءٍ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ بِهِ عَلِيمٌ سورة آل عمران آية 92 #، قَالَ : إِنَّ أَحَبَّ أَمْوَالِي إِلَيَّ بَيْرُحَاءُ ، وَإِنَّهَا صَدَقَةٌ للَّهِ أَرْجُو بِرَّهَا وَذُخْرَهَا عِنْدَ اللَّهِ، فَضَعْهَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ حَيْثُ شِئْتَ.
فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" بَخٍ ذَلِكَ مَالٌ رَابِحٌ أَوْ رَائِحٌ، وَقَدْ سَمِعْتُ مَا قُلْتَ فِيهِ، وَإِنِّي أَرَى أَنْ تَجْعَلَهُ فِي الْأَقْرَبِينَ ".
فَقَالَ أَبُو طَلْحَةَ : أَفْعَلُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، فَقَسَّمَهُ أَبُو طَلْحَةَ فِي قَرَابَةِ بَنِي عَمِّهِ

Al-Hakam bin Al-Mubarak told us, Malik told us, on the authority of Ishaq bin Abdullah bin Abi Talha, on the authority of Anas, he said: Abu Talha was The Ansari had the most palm trees in Medina, and the most beloved of his possessions was Bayruha’, which was facing the mosque, and he meant the Prophet’s prayers. May God bless him and grant him peace, he enters it and drinks from the good water in it.
Anas said: When this verse was revealed: #You will not attain righteousness until you spend of what you love, and whatever thing you spend, for surely God is All-Knowing of it. Surat Al Imran, verse 92 # He said: The most beloved of my wealth is Bayruha, and it is a charity for God whose righteousness and reserve I hope for with God, so put it, O Messenger of God, where it is. You want.
Then the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “That is profitable or desirable money, and I have heard what you said about it, and I think you should put it in “The closest ones.”
Abu Talha said: I will do it, O Messenger of God, so Abu Talha divided it among his relatives among his cousins.

وَكَانَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ خَفِيفَ ذَاتِ الْيَدِ، فَجِئْتُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَسْأَلُهُ، فَوَافَقَتْ زَيْنَبَ ، امْرَأَةٌ مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ، تَسْأَلُ عَمَّا أَسْأَلُ عَنْهُ، فَقُلْتُ لِبِلَالٍ : سَلْ لِي رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَيْنَ أَضَعُ صَدَقَتِي؟ : عَلَى عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، أَوْ فِي قَرَابَتِي؟ فَسَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ : أَيُّ الزَّيَانِبِ؟ فَقَالَ : امْرَأَةُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، فَقَالَ :" لَهَا أَجْرَانِ، أَجْرُ الْقَرَابَةِ، وَأَجْرُ الصَّدَقَةِ "

Abdullah was light-handed, so I came to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, to ask him, and Zainab, a woman from Al-Ansar, asking what I am asking about, so I said to Bilal: Ask the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, where should I put my charity? On Abdullah, or among my relatives? He asked the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and said: Which Zayanib? He said: The wife of Abdullah, and he said: “She has two rewards, the reward of kinship, and the reward of charity.”

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، قَالَ : سُلَيْمَانُ أَخْبَرَنِي، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا وَائِلٍ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ زَيْنَبَ امْرَأَةِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ : إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " يَا مَعْشَرَ النِّسَاءِ،تَصَدَّقْنَ وَلَوْ مِنْ حُلِيِّكُنَّ "

Abu Al-Walid Al-Tayalisi told us, Shu’bah told us, he said: Suleiman told me, he said: I heard Abu Wa’il speaking, on the authority of Amr ibn Al-Harith, on the authority of Zainab, Abdullah’s wife, that she said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “O women, give alms even if "You are beautiful"

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عُثْمَانَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ مُوسَى بْنَ طَلْحَةَ يَذْكُرُ، عَنْ حَكِيمِ بْنِ حِزَامٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" خَيْرُ الصَّدَقَةِ عَنْ ظَهْرِ غِنًى، وَالْيَدُ الْعُلْيَا خَيْرٌ مِنْ الْيَدِ السُّفْلَى، وَابْدَأْ بِمَنْ تَعُولُ "

Abu Nu`aym told us, Amr bin Uthman told us, he said: I heard Musa bin Talha mentioning, on the authority of Hakim bin Hazzam, he said: The Messenger of God said: May God’s prayers and peace be upon him: “The best charity is that of wealth, and the upper hand is better than the lower hand. Start with those you depend on.”

أَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ :" الْيَدُ الْعُلْيَا خَيْرٌ مِنْ الْيَدِ السُّفْلَى، قَالَ : وَالْيَدُ الْعُلْيَا يَدُ الْمُعْطِي، وَالْيَدُ السُّفْلَى يَدُ السَّائِلِ "

Suleiman bin Harb told us, Hammad bin Zaid told us, on the authority of Ayyub, on the authority of Nafi’, on the authority of Ibn Umar, he said: I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. He, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “The upper hand is better than the lower hand.” He said: “The upper hand is the hand of the giver, and the lower hand is the hand of the beggar.”

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ ، حَدَّثَنِي هِشَامٌ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ :" خَيْرُ الصَّدَقَةِ مَا تُصُدِّقَ بِهِ عَنْ ظَهْرِ غِنًى، وَلْيَبْدَأْ أَحَدُكُمْ بِمَنْ يَعُولُ "

Abdullah bin Salih told us, Al-Layth told me, Hisham told me, on the authority of Urwa, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, he said: I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. God, upon him be peace, says: “The best charity is that which is given in charity out of wealth, and let each one of you start with those he supports.”

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، عَنْ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ ، عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ ، وَعُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ ، أَنَّ حَكِيمَ بْنَ حِزَامٍ قَالَ : سَأَلْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَعْطَانِي، ثُمَّ سَأَلْتُهُ فَأَعْطَانِي، ثُمَّ سَأَلْتُهُ فَأَعْطَانِي، ثُمَّ سَأَلْتُهُ، فَقَالَ : " يَا حَكِيمُ، إِنَّهَذَا الْمَالَ خَضِرٌ حُلْوٌ، فَمَنْ أَخَذَهُ بِسَخَاوَةِ نَفْسٍ، بُورِكَ لَهُ فِيهِ، وَمَنْ أَخَذَهُ بِإِشْرَافِ نَفْسٍ لَمْ يُبَارَكْ لَهُ فِيهِ، وَكَانَ كَالَّذِي يَأْكُلُ وَلَا يَشْبَعُ "

Muhammad bin Yusuf informed us, on the authority of Al-Awza’i, on the authority of Ibn Shihab, on the authority of Sa’id bin Al-Musayyab, and Urwa bin Al-Zubayr, that Hakim bin Hizam said: I asked the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and he gave me, then I asked him and he gave me, then I asked him and he gave me, then I asked him, and he said: “Oh Wise man, this money is green and sweet, so whoever takes it out of generosity, he will be blessed with it, and whoever takes it out of selfishness, he will not be blessed. And he was like one who eats and is not satisfied.”
