  • Sunan al-Darimi – سنن الدارمي – Hadith #1189

    أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاق بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ ، عَنْ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ : أَنَّ أَبَا مَعْبَدٍ مَوْلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَخْبَرَهُ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، عَنْ الْفَضْلِ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ فِي عَشِيَّةِ عَرَفَةَ وَغَدَاةِ جَمْعٍ حِينَ دَفَعُوا : " عَلَيْكُمْ السَّكِينَةَ "،وَهُوَ كَافٌّ نَاقَتَهُ، حَتَّى إِذَا دَخَلَ وَادِي مُحَسِّرًا ، أَوْضَعَ.
    أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، بِإِسْنَادِهِ نَحْوَهُ.
    قَالَ عَبْد اللَّهِ : الْإِيضَاعُ لِلْإِبِلِ، وَالْإِيجَافُ لِلْخَيْلِ
    Ishaq ibn Ibrahim informed us, Issa ibn Yunus informed us, on the authority of Ibn Jurayj, he said: Abu al-Zubayr informed me: Abu Ma`abad is a free servant. Ibn Abbas told him, on the authority of Ibn Abbas, on the authority of Al-Fadl, that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said on the eve of Arafat and the morning after a group of people pushed back: “You must be at peace.” And he was guiding his she-camel until, when he entered a valley with mud, he gave birth.
    Ahmad bin Abdullah told us, Laith told us, on the authority of Abu Al-Zubayr, with a similar chain of transmission.
    Abdullah said: “Leading” is for camels, and “leaning” is for horses.

  • Sunan al-Darimi – سنن الدارمي – Hadith #1188

    أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو غَسَّانَ مَالِكُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيل ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاق ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ ، قَالَ : كَانَ أَهْلُ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ يُفِيضُونَ مِنْ جَمْعٍ بَعْدَ طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ، وَكَانُوا يَقُولُونَ : أَشْرِقْ ثَبِيرُ لَعَلَّنَا نُغِيرُ، وَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَالَفَهُمْ" فَدَفَعَ قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ بِقَدْرِ صَلَاةِ الْمُسْفِرِينَ أَوْ قَالَ : الْمُشْرِقِينَ بِصَلَاةِ الْغَدَاةِ "
    Abu Ghassan Malik bin Ismail told us, Israel told us, on the authority of Abu Ishaq, on the authority of Amr bin Maimun, on the authority of Omar bin Al-Khattab, He said: The people of pre-Islamic times used to gather in crowds after sunrise, and they used to say: A bright sunrise, perhaps we will make a move, and the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, has risen. He, peace and blessings of God be upon him, differed from them. “He paid the prayer before sunrise according to the amount of the prayer of the travellers, or he said: those who set out to the sunrise, with the morning prayer.”

  • Sunan al-Darimi – سنن الدارمي – Hadith #1187

    أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْلَى ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل ، عَنْ عَامِرٍ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ مُضَرِّسٍ ، قَالَ : جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالْمَوْقِفِ عَلَى رُؤُوسِ النَّاسِ، فَقَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، جِئْتُ مِنْ جَبَلَيْ طَيِّءٍ ، أَكْلَلْتُ مَطِيَّتِي : وَأَتْعَبْتُ نَفْسِي، وَاللَّهِ إِنْ بَقِيَ جَبَلٌ إِلَّا وَقَفْتُ عَلَيْهِ، فَهَلْ لِي مِنْ حَجٍّ؟ قَالَ :" مَنْ شَهِدَ مَعَنَا هَذِهِ الصَّلَاةَ، وَقَدْ أَتَى عَرَفَاتٍ قَبْلَ ذَلِكَ لَيْلًا أَوْ نَهَارًا، فَقَدْ قَضَى تَفَثَهُ، وَتَمَّ حَجُّهُ ".
    أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي السَّفَرِ ، عَنْ الشَّعْبِيِّ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ مُضَرِّسِ بْنِ حَارِثَةَ بْنِ لَامٍ ، قَالَ : أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ
    Ya'la told us, Ismail told us, on the authority of Amir, on the authority of Urwa bin Mudarris, who said: A man came to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. By standing on the heads of the people, he said: O Messenger of God, I have come from my mountain with wood, crowned my mount, and I have exhausted myself. By God, if a mountain remains Unless I stop on it, is there any Hajj for me? He said: “Whoever witnessed this prayer with us, and came to Arafat before that, day or night, has completed his devotion and completed his Hajj.”
    Abu Al-Walid told us, Shu’bah told us, on the authority of Abdullah bin Abi Al-Safar, on the authority of Al-Sha’bi, on the authority of Urwa bin Mudarris bin Haritha. Ibn Laam, he said: I came to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and he mentioned something similar to it.

  • Sunan al-Darimi – سنن الدارمي – Hadith #1186

    وَقَالَ :" أَيَّامُ مِنًى ثَلَاثَةُ أَيَّامٍ # فَمَنْ تَعَجَّلَ فِي يَوْمَيْنِ فَلا إِثْمَ عَلَيْهِ وَمَنْ تَأَخَّرَ فَلا إِثْمَ سورة البقرة آية 203 # "
    And he said: “The days of Mina are three days. So whoever hurries on two days, there is no sin on him, and whoever delays, there is no sin.” Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 203.

    أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، حَدَّثَنَا بُكَيْرُ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ يَعْمُرَ الدِّيلِيَّ يَقُولُ : سُئِلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ الْحَجِّ، فَقَالَ :" الْحَجُّ عَرَفَاتٌ أَوْ قَالَ : عَرَفَةَ ، وَمَنْ أَدْرَكَ لَيْلَةَ جَمْعٍ قَبْلَ صَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ، فَقَدْ أَدْرَكَ "
    Abu Al-Walid Al-Tayalisi told us, Shu’bah told us, Bukair bin Ata’ told us, he said: I heard Abd al-Rahman bin Yamar al-Dili saying: The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, was asked about Hajj, and he said: “Hajj is Arafat, or he said: Arafat, and whoever joins the night of congregation before the morning prayer, has "realized"

    قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ :" فَلَأَنْ أَكُونَ اسْتَأْذَنْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَمَا اسْتَأْذَنَتْ سَوْدَةُ ، فَأَدْفَعَ قَبْلَ النَّاسِ، أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ مَفْرُوحٍ بِهِ "
    Aisha said: “Because I asked the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, for permission just as Sawda asked for permission, and I am pushed before the people, that is more beloved to me.” Who rejoices in him?

  • Sunan al-Darimi – سنن الدارمي – Hadith #1183

    أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَجِيدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَفْلَحُ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ الْقَاسِمَ بْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " اسْتَأْذَنَتْ سَوْدَةُ بِنْتُ زَمْعَةَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْيَأْذَنَ لَهَا فَتَدْفَعَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَدْفَعَ، فَأَذِنَ لَهَا ".
    قَالَ الْقَاسِمُ : وَكَانَتْ امْرَأَةً ثَبِطَةً قَالَ الْقَاسِمُ : الثَّبِطَةُ : الثَّقِيلَةُ ، فَدَفَعَتْ وَحُبِسْنَا مَعَهُ حَتَّى دَفَعْنَا بِدَفْعِهِ
    Ubaid Allah bin Abdul Majeed told us, Aflah told us, he said: I heard Al-Qasim bin Muhammad narrating, on the authority of Aisha, she said: “I asked for permission. Sawda, the daughter of Zam’ah, the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, gave her permission to pay before he paid, so he gave her permission.”
    Al-Qasim said: She was a heavy woman. Al-Qasim said: The heavy one, so she pushed and we were detained with him until we pushed him away.

    أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ شَوَّالٍ : أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ أُمَّ حَبِيبَةَ أَخْبَرَتْهُ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" أَمَرَهَا أَنْ تَنْفِرَ مِنْ جَمْعٍ بِلَيْلٍ "
    Abu Asim told us, on the authority of Ibn Jurayj, on the authority of Ata’, on the authority of Ibn Shawwal: He told him that Umm Habiba told him that the Messenger of God May God’s prayers and peace be upon him, “He commanded her to depart from the crowd at night.”

  • Sunan al-Darimi – سنن الدارمي – Hadith #1181

    أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَجِيدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" صَلَّى الْمَغْرِبَ وَالْعِشَاءَ بِالْمُزْدَلِفَةِ ، لَمْ يُنَادِ فِي وَاحِدَةٍ مِنْهُمَا إِلَّا بِالْإِقَامَةِ، وَلَمْ يُسَبِّحْ بَيْنَهُمَا، وَلَا عَلَى إِثْرِ وَاحِدَةٍ مِنْهُمَا "
    Ubayd Allah bin Abdul Majeed told us, Ibn Abi Dhib told us, on the authority of Ibn Shihab, on the authority of Salim, on the authority of his father, that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace “Peace and blessings of God be upon him,” he prayed the Maghrib and Isha’ prayers at Muzdalifah. He did not call out in any of them except the Iqama, and he did not say the tasbih between them, nor at the after one of them"

    أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، قَالَ عَدِيُّ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ : أَنْبَأَنِي، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ يَزِيدَ ، عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" جَمَعَ بَيْنَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ "يَعْنِي : بِجَمْعٍ
    Abu Al-Walid told us, Shu’bah told us, Adi bin Thabit said: He informed me, he said: I heard Abdullah bin Yazid, on the authority of Abu Ayyub The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, “combined Maghrib and Isha’,” meaning: combining them.
