  • Sunan al-Darimi – سنن الدارمي – Hadith #1244

    أَخْبَرَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ فَيْرُوزَ ، عَنْ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ ، قَالَ : سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا يُتَّقَى مِنْ الضَّحَايَا؟ قَالَ :" الْعَوْرَاءُ الْبَيِّنُ عَوَرُهَا، وَالْعَرْجَاءُ الْبَيِّنُ ظَلْعُهَا، وَالْمَرِيضَةُ الْبَيِّنُ مَرَضُهَا، وَالْعَجْفَاءُ الَّتِي لَا تُنْقِي "
    Khalid bin Mukhlid told us, Malik told us, on the authority of Amr bin Al-Harith, on the authority of Ubaid bin Fayrouz, on the authority of Al-Baraa bin Azib, he said: He was asked The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, what is to be avoided from the victims? He said: “The one-eyed woman whose defect is evident, the lame woman whose ribs are clearly evident, the sick woman whose illness is clearly evident, and the lame woman who cannot be cleaned.”

    أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ :" إِذَا دَخَلَتْ الْعَشْرُ، وَأَرَادَ أَحَدُكُمْ أَنْ يُضَحِّيَ، فَلَا يَمَسَّ مِنْ شَعْرِهِ وَلَا أَظْفَارِهِ شَيْئًا "
    Muhammad bin Ahmad told us, Sufyan told us, Abd al-Rahman bin Humaid told me, on the authority of Sa`id bin al-Musayyab, on the authority of Umm Salamah, on the authority of The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “When the first ten days have come, and one of you wants to make a sacrifice, he should not touch any of his hair or nails.”

    أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ ، حَدَّثَنِي خَالِدٌ يَعْنِي : ابْنَ يَزِيدَ ، حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدٌ يَعْنِي : ابْنَ أَبِي هِلَالٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ الْمُسَيَّبِ ، أَنَّ أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ أَخْبَرَتْهُ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ، قَالَ :" مَنْ أَرَادَ أَنْ يُضَحِّيَ، فَلَا يُقَلِّمْ أَظْفَارَهُ، وَلَا يَحْلِقْ شَيْئًا مِنْ شَعْرِهِ فِي الْعَشْرِ الْأُوَلِ مِنْ ذِي الْحِجَّةِ "
    Abdullah bin Salih told us, Al-Layth told me, Khaled told me, meaning: Ibn Yazid, Sa’id told me, meaning: Ibn Abi Hilal, on the authority of Amr bin Muslim, Ibn al-Musayyab told me that Umm Salamah told him, on the authority of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, that he said: “Who If he wants to offer a sacrifice, he should not trim his nails or shave any of his hair during the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah.”

    أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاق ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي عَيَّاشٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : ضَحَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِكَبْشَيْنِ فِي يَوْمِ الْعِيدِ، فَقَالَ حِينَ وَجَّهَهُمَا : " إِنِّيوَجَّهْتُ وَجْهِيَ لِلَّذِي فَطَرَ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ حَنِيفًا وَمَا أَنَا مِنْ الْمُشْرِكِينَ.
    إِنَّ صَلَاتِي وَنُسُكِي وَمَحْيَايَ وَمَمَاتِي لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ، لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، وَبِذَلِكَ أُمِرْتُ وَأَنَا أَوَّلُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ.
    اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّ هَذَا مِنْكَ وَلَكَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ وَأُمَّتِهِ "، ثُمَّ سَمَّى اللَّهَ وَكَبَّرَ وَذَبَحَ
    Ahmad bin Khalid told us, Muhammad bin Ishaq told us, on the authority of Yazid bin Abi Habib, on the authority of Abu Ayyash, on the authority of Jabir bin Abdullah He said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, sacrificed two rams on the day of Eid. When he turned to them, he said: “I have turned my face to the one who broke the fast.” The heavens and the earth are upright, and I am not of the polytheists.
    Indeed, my prayer, my sacrifice, my life, and my death belong to God, Lord of the worlds, without any partner, and with that I was commanded, and I am the first of the Muslims.
    Oh God, this is from you and for you, on the authority of Muhammad and his nation.” Then he named God and said “Allahu Akbar” and slaughtered

    أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، قَالَ :" ضَحَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِكَبْشَيْنِ أَمْلَحَيْنِ أَقْرَنَيْنِ، وَيُسَمِّي وَيُكَبِّرُ، لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُهُ يَذْبَحُهُمَا بِيَدِهِ وَاضِعًا عَلَى صِفَاحِهِمَا قَدَمَهُ "، قُلْتُ : أَنْتَ سَمِعْتَهُ؟ قَالَ : نَعَمْ
    Saeed bin Amir told us, on the authority of Shu’bah, on the authority of Qatada, on the authority of Anas, who said: “The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, sacrificed two rams.” “Amlihin and Qarnain,” and he used to name and say “Allahu Akbar.” I saw him slaughter them with his hand, placing his foot on their skins.
