  • Sunan al-Darimi – سنن الدارمي – Hadith #1300

    أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَوْفٌ ، عَنْ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُغَفَّلٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" لَوْلَا أَنَّ الْكِلَابَ أُمَّةٌ مِنْ الْأُمَمِ، لَأَمَرْتُ بِقَتْلِهَا كُلِّهَا، وَلَكِنْ اقْتُلُوا مِنْهَا كُلَّ أَسْوَدَ بَهِيمٍ ".
    قَالَ سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ : الْبَهِيمُ : الْأَسْوَدُ كُلُّهُ
    Saeed bin Amir told us, Awf told us, on the authority of Al-Hasan, on the authority of Abdullah bin Mughaffal, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “If dogs were not a nation among the nations, I would have ordered the killing of all of them, but kill every black animal among them.”

    أَخْبَرَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : " أَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَبِقَتْلِ الْكِلَابِ "

    أَخْبَرَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ أَبِي التَّيَّاحِ ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُغَفَّلٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَأَمَرَ بِقَتْلِ الْكِلَابِ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : " مَا بَالِي وَلِلْكِلَابِ؟ "، ثُمَّ رَخَّصَ فِي كَلْبِ الرَّعْيِ وَكَلْبِ الصَّيْدِ
    Wahb bin Jarir told us, Shu’bah told us, on the authority of Abu al-Tayyah, on the authority of Mutarrif, on the authority of Abdullah bin Mughaffal, that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him He gave the order to kill the dogs, then said: “What do I care about the dogs?” Then he gave permission for herding dogs and hunting dogs.

    حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ خُصَيْفَةَ ، عَنْ السَّائِبِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ سُفْيَانَ بْنَ أَبِي زُهَيْرٍ يُحَدِّثُ نَاسًا مَعَهُ عِنْدَ بَاب الْمَسْجِدِ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ :" مَنْ اقْتَنَى كَلْبًا لَا يُغْنِي عَنْهُ زَرْعًا وَلَا ضَرْعًا، نَقَصَ مِنْ عَمَلِهِ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ قِيرَاطٌ ".
    قَالُوا : أَنْتَ سَمِعْتَ هَذَا مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟ قَالَ : إِي وَرَبِّ هَذَا الْمَسْجِدِ
    Al-Hakam bin Al-Mubarak narrated to us, Malik narrated to us, on the authority of Yazid bin Khusaifa, on the authority of Al-Sa’ib bin Yazid, that he heard Sufyan bin Abi Zuhayr was talking to people at the door of the mosque. He said: I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, say: “Whoever keeps a dog is of no use. Seeds or udders, a Qirat is subtracted from his work every day.”
    They said: Did you hear this from the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace? He said: Yes, by the Lord of this mosque

    أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" مَنْ اقْتَنَى كَلْبًا إِلَّا كَلْبَ صَيْدٍ أَوْ مَاشِيَةٍ، نَقَصَ مِنْ عَمَلِهِ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ قِيرَاطَانِ "
    Abu Nu`aym told us, Sufyan told us, on the authority of Abdullah bin Dinar, on the authority of Ibn Umar, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Whoever keeps a dog, other than a hunting or livestock dog, two qirats will be deducted from his work every day.”

    أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْلَى بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا ، عَنْ عَامِرٍ ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ ، قَالَ : سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ صَيْدِ الْكَلْبِ، فَقَالَ :" مَا أَمْسَكَ عَلَيْكَ كَلْبِكَ فَكُلْ، فَإِنَّ أَخْذَهُ ذَكَاتُهُ، وَإِنْ وَجَدْتَ مَعَهُ كَلْبًا فَخَشِيتَ أَنْ يَكُونَ قَدْ أَخَذَهُ مَعَهُ، وَقَدْ قَتَلَهُ، فَلَا تَأْكُلْهُ، فَإِنَّكَ إِنَّمَا ذَكَرْتَ اسْمَ اللَّهِ عَلَى كَلْبِكَ، وَلَمْ تَذْكُرْهُ عَلَى غَيْرِهِ ".
    أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا ، عَنْ عَامِرٍ ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ ، قَالَ : سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ صَيْدِ الْمِعْرَاضِ، فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ
    Ya'la bin Ubaid told us, Zakaria told us, on the authority of Amir, on the authority of Adi bin Hatim, he said: I asked the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, about The dog caught, and he said: “Whenever your dog catches you, eat it, for it has taken it because of its cleverness, and if you find a dog with him and you are afraid that he has taken it.” And he killed it, so do not eat it, for you only mentioned the name of God over your dog, and you did not mention it over anyone else.”
    Abu Nu`aym told us, Zakaria told us, on the authority of Amer, on the authority of Adi bin Hatim, who said: I asked the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, about hunting. Refusal, so he mentioned something like it
