  • Sunan al-Darimi – سنن الدارمي – Hadith #2896

    أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا زَمْعَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ حَاضِرٍ الْأَزْدِيِّ ، قَالَ : دَخَلْتُ عَلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، فَقُلْتُ : أَوْصِنِي، فَقَالَ : نَعَمْ،" عَلَيْكَ بِتَقْوَى اللَّهِ، وَالِاسْتِقَامَةِ، اتَّبِعْ وَلَا تَبْتَدِعْ "
    Abu Nu`aym told us, Zamaa bin Saleh told us, on the authority of Uthman bin Hadhir al-Azdi, who said: I entered upon Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with him. So I said: Advise me, and he said: Yes, “You must fear God and be upright, follow and do not innovate.”

    أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ قُدَامَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ ، عَنْ مِسْعَرٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْرَجَ إِلَيَّ مَعْنُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ كِتَابًا، فَحَلَفَ لِي بِاللَّهِ أَنَّهُ خَطُّ أَبِيه ، فَإِذَا فِيهِ : قَال عَبْدُ اللَّهِ :" وَالَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ مَا رَأَيْتُ أَحَدًا كَانَ أَشَدَّ عَلَى الْمُتَنَطِّعِينَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَمَا رَأَيْتُ أَحَدًا كَانَ أَشَدَّ عَلَيْهِمْ مِنْ أَبِي بَكْرٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، وَإِنِّي لَأَرَى عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ كَانَ أَشَدَّ خَوْفًا عَلَيْهِمْ أَوْ لَهُمْ "
    Muhammad bin Qudamah told us, Abu Usama told us, on the authority of Mis’ar, he said: Ma’an bin Abdul Rahman brought out to me a letter, so he swore to me By God, it is his father’s handwriting, so in it: Abdullah said: “By the One there is no god but Him, I have not seen anyone who was more severe against those who conceal themselves than the Messenger of God.” God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and I did not see anyone who was more severe against them than Abu Bakr, may God be pleased with him, and I see Omar, may God be pleased with him, who was more severe than Abu Bakr, may God be pleased with him. out of fear for them or for them.”

    أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَجَّاجِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ ابْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ ، قَالَ :" إِنَّ الْعَالِمَ يَدْخُلُ فِيمَا بَيْنَ اللَّهِ وَبَيْنَ عِبَادِهِ، فَلْيَطْلُبْ لِنَفْسِهِ الْمَخْرَجَ "
    Ahmad ibn al-Hajjaj told us, saying: I heard Sufyan, on the authority of Ibn al-Munkadir, who said: “The scholar enters into what is between God and His servants. Let him seek a way out for himself.”

    حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الصَّفَّارُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ : سَأَلْتُ الشَّعْبِيَّ ، كَيْفَ كُنْتُمْ تَصْنَعُونَ إِذَا سُئِلْتُمْ؟، قَالَ :" عَلَى الْخَبِيرِ وَقَعْتَ، كَانَ إِذَا سُئِلَ الرَّجُلُ، قَالَ لِصَاحِبِهِ : أَفْتِهِمْ، فَلَا يَزَالُ حَتَّى يَرْجِعَ إِلَى الْأَوَّلِ "
    Yusuf bin Yaqoub Al-Saffar told us, Abu Bakr told us, on the authority of Dawud, he said: I asked Al-Sha’abi, how would you do if you were asked? He said: “ It fell upon the expert. Whenever a man was asked, he would say to his companion: Give them a fatwa, and he would not stop until he returned to the beginning.

    أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ أَبِي لَيْلَى ، يَقُولُ :" لَقَدْ أَدْرَكْتُ فِي هَذَا الْمَسْجِدِ عِشْرِينَ وَمِائَةً مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ، وَمَا مِنْهُمْ مِنْ أَحَدٍ يُحَدِّثُ بِحَدِيثٍ إِلَّا وَدَّ أَنَّ أَخَاهُ كَفَاهُ الْحَدِيثَ، وَلَا يُسْأَلُ عَنْ فُتْيَا إِلَّا وَدَّ أَنَّ أَخَاهُ كَفَاهُ الْفُتْيَا "
    Abu Nu`aym told us, Sufyan told us, on the authority of Ata’ ibn al-Sa’ib, he said: I heard Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Laila saying: “I have realized In this mosque there are twenty and one hundred Ansar, and not one of them narrates a hadith except that he wishes that his brother had sufficed him with narration, and he would not be asked. “On the authority of a fatwa, except that he wished that his brother was sufficient for the fatwa.”

    أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ بَشِيرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ إِيَاسٍ ، قَالَ : قُلْتُ لِسَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ : مَا لَكَ لَا تَقُولُ فِي الطَّلَاقِ شَيْئًا؟، قَالَ :" مَا مِنْهُ شَيْءٌ إِلَّا قَدْ سَأَلْتُ عَنْهُ، وَلَكِنِّي أَكْرَهُ أَنْ أُحِلَّ حَرَامًا، أَوْ أُحَرِّمَ حَلَالًا "
    Abdullah bin Saeed told us, Ahmad bin Bashir told us, Shu’bah told us, on the authority of Ja’far bin Iyas, he said: I told Saeed bin Jubair: Why do you not say anything about divorce? He said: “There is nothing about it that I have not asked about, but I hate to make permissible something forbidden, or to make something permissible forbidden.”

    أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَوْنٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُهُ يَذْكُرُ ، قَالَ : كَانَ الشَّعْبِيُّ إِذَا جَاءَهُ شَيْءٌ اتَّقَى، وَكَانَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ يَقُولُ، وَيَقُولُ، وَيَقُولُ، قَالَ أَبُو عَاصِمٍ :" كَانَ الشَّعْبِيُّ فِي هَذَا أَحْسَنَ حَالًا عِنْدَ ابْنِ عَوْنٍ مِنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ "
    Abu Asim told us, on the authority of Ibn Aoun, he said: I heard him mentioning, he said: Whenever something came to him, al-Sha`bi would be pious, and Ibrahim used to say, And he says, and he says, Abu Asim said: “Al-Sha’bi was in a better condition with Ibn Aoun than Ibrahim.”

    أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاق بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ ، قَالَ :" مَا رَأَيْتُ أَحَدًا أَكْثَرَ أَنْ يَقُولَ إِذَا سُئِلَ عَنْ شَيْءٍ : لَا عِلْمَ لِي بِهِ مِنْ الشَّعْبِيِّ "
    Muhammad bin Ahmad told us, Ishaq bin Mansour told us, on the authority of Omar bin Abi Zaida, he said: “I have never seen anyone say more If he is asked about something: “I have no knowledge of it from my people.”

    أَخْبَرَنَا قَبِيصَةُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ أَبْجَرَ ، عَنْ زُبَيْدٍ ، قَالَ :" مَا سَأَلْتُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ شَيْءٍ إِلَّا عَرَفْتُ الْكَرَاهِيَةَ فِي وَجْهِهِ "
    Qubaisa told us, Sufyan told us, on the authority of Abd al-Malik ibn Abjar, on the authority of Zubaid, he said: “I did not ask Abraham about anything except "I knew the hatred in his face."

    أَخْبَرَنَا سَلْمُ بْنُ جُنَادَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ إِدْرِيسَ ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ ، قَالَ :" خَرَجْتُ مِنْ عِنْدِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، فَاسْتَقْبَلَنِي حَمَّادٌ، فَحَمَّلَنِي ثَمَانِيَةَ أَبْوَابٍ، مَسَائِلَ، فَسَأَلْتُهُ، فَأَجَابَنِي عَنْ أَرْبَعٍ وَتَرَكَ أَرْبَعًا "
    Salam bin Junada told us, Ibn Idris told us, on the authority of his uncle, he said: “I left Ibrahim’s house, and Hammad met me, and he carried me Eight chapters, questions, so I asked him, and he answered me about four, but left out four.”
