أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ ، حَدَّثَنِي يَزِيدُ ابْنُ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْأَشَجِّ ، أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ :" إِنَّهُ سَيَأْتِي نَاسٌ يُجَادِلُونَكُمْ بِشُبُهَاتِ الْقُرْآنِ، فَخُذُوهُمْ بِالسُّنَنِ، فَإِنَّ أَصْحَابَ السُّنَنِ أَعْلَمُ بِكِتَابِ اللَّهِ G "

Abdullah bin Salih told us, Al-Layth told me, Yazid bin Abi Habib told me, on the authority of Omar bin Al-Ashjaj, that Omar bin Al-Khattab May God be pleased with him, he said: “Indeed, people will come and argue with you based on doubts in the Qur’an, so take them by the Sunnah, for the people of the Sunnah are more knowledgeable about the Book of God.” G"

أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَوْنٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ الْقَاسِمُ :" إِنَّكُمْ لَتَسْأَلُونَ عَنْ أَشْيَاءَ مَا كُنَّا نَسْأَلُ عَنْهَا، وَتُنَقِّرُونَ عَنْ أَشْيَاءَ مَا كُنَّا نُنَقِّرُ عَنْهَا، وَتَسْأَلُونَ عَنْ أَشْيَاءَ مَا أَدْرِي مَا هِيَ، وَلَوْ عَلِمْنَاهَا مَا حَلَّ لَنَا أَنْ نَكْتُمُكُمُوهَا "

Ahmad bin Abdullah told us, Muadh bin Muadh told us, on the authority of Ibn Aoun, he said: Al-Qasim said: “You will ask about certain things. We used to ask about them, and you used to talk about things that we did not talk about, and you asked about things that I did not know what they were, and if we had known about them, it would not have happened. أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمْزَةَ ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سُئِلَ عَنْ الْأَمْرِ يَحْدُثُ لَيْسَ فِي كِتَابٍ وَلَا سُنَّةٍ، فَقَالَ :" يَنْظُرُ فِيهِ الْعَابِدُونَ مِنْ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ "

Muhammad bin Al-Mubarak told us, Yahya bin Hamza told us, Abu Salamah told me, that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, was asked about the matter. It does not occur in the Book or the Sunnah, so he said: “The worshiping believers will look into it.”

أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَسَّانَ ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمْزَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ الْحِمْصِيُّ ، أَنَّ وَهْبَ بْنَ عَمْرٍو الْجُمَحِيَّ حَدَّثَهُ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ :" لَا تَعْجَلُوا بِالْبَلِيَّةِ قَبْلَ نُزُولِهَا، فَإِنَّكُمْ إِنْ لَا تَعْجَلُوهَا قَبْلَ نُزُولِهَا، لَا يَنْفَكُّ الْمُسْلِمُونَ وَفِيهِمْ إِذَا هِيَ نَزَلَتْ مَنْ إِذَا قَالَ، وُفِّقَ وَسُدِّدَ، وَإِنَّكُمْ إِنْ تَعْجَلُوهَا، تَخْتَلِفْ بِكُمْ الْأَهْوَاءُ، فَتَأْخُذُوا هَكَذَا وَهَكَذَا، وَأَشَارَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَعَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ شِمَالِهِ "

Yahya bin Hassan and Muhammad bin Al-Mubarak told us, saying: Yahya bin Hamza told us, Abu Salamah Al-Homsi told us, that Wahb bin Amr Al-Jumahi told him that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Do not hasten the calamity before it descends, for if you do not Hasten it before it descends. أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَوْنٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، عَنْ الْعَوَّامِ ، عَنْ الْمُسَيَّبِ بْنِ رَافِعٍ ، قَالَ :" كَانُوا إِذَا نَزَلَتْ بِهِمْ قَضِيَّةٌ لَيْسَ فِيهَا مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَثَرٌ، اجْتَمَعُوا لَهَا وَأَجْمَعُوا، فَالْحَقُّ فِيمَا رَأَوْا، فَالْحَقُّ فِيمَا رَأَوْا "، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ ، عَنْ الْعَوَّامِ بِهَذَا

Amr bin Aoun told us, Hushaym told us, on the authority of the Awwam, on the authority of Al-Musayyab bin Rafi’, he said: “Whenever a matter befell them, it was not There is a trace of it from the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى ، قَالَ : قُلْتُ لِلْقَاسِمِ : مَا أَشَدَّ عَلَيَّ أَنْ تُسْأَلَ عَنْ الشَّيْءِ لَا يَكُونُ عِنْدَكَ وَقَدْ كَانَ أَبُوكَ إِمَامًا، قَالَ :" إِنَّ أَشَدَّ مِنْ ذَلِكَ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ وَعِنْدَ مَنِ عَقَلَ عَنْ اللَّهِ أَنْ أُفْتِيَ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ، أَوْ أَرْوِيَ عَنْ غَيْرِ ثِقَةٍ "

Muhammad ibn Kathir informed us, on the authority of Sufyan ibn Uyaynah, on the authority of Yahya, who said: I said to Al-Qasim: How difficult it is for me to be asked about something, not It will be with you when your father was an imam. أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَوْنٍ ، قَالَ : سُئِلَ الْقَاسِمُ عَنْ شَيْءٍ قَدْ سَمَّاهُ، فَقَالَ :" مَا أَضْطَرُّ إِلَى مَشُورَةٍ، وَمَا أَنَا مِنْ ذَي فِي شَيْءٍ "

أَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ الْقَاسِمَ سُئْلُ، قَالَ :" إِنَّا وَاللَّهِ مَا نَعْلَمُ كُلَّ مَا تَسْأَلُونَ عَنْهُ، وَلَوْ عَلِمْنَا مَا كَتَمْنَاكُمْ، وَلَا حَلَّ لَنَا أَنْ نَكْتُمَكُمْ "

Suleiman bin Harb told us, Hammad bin Zaid told us, on the authority of Ayyub, he said: I heard Al-Qasim asked, he said: “By God, we do not know everything. You ask about it, and if we knew we would not conceal it from you, and it is not permissible for us to conceal it from you.”

أَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ الْقَاسِمِ ، قَالَ :" لَأَنْ يَعِيشَ الرَّجُلُ جَاهِلًا بَعْدَ أَنْ يَعْلَمَ حَقَّ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ خَيْرٌ لَهُ مِنْ أَنْ يَقُولَ مَا لَا يَعْلَمُ "

Suleiman bin Harb told us, Hammad bin Zaid told us, on the authority of Yahya bin Saeed, on the authority of Al-Qasim, who said: “For a man to live ignorant after It is better for him to know the rights of God upon him than to say what he does not know.”

أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَوْنٍ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ ، قَالَ : جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، فَقَالَ : إِنَّهُ طَلَّقَ امْرَأَتَهُ الْبَارِحَةَ ثَمَانِيًا، قَالَ : بِكَلَامٍ وَاحِدٍ؟، قَالَ : بِكَلَامٍ وَاحِدٍ، قَالَ : فَيُرِيدُونَ أَنْ يُبِينُوا مِنْكَ امْرَأَتَكَ؟ قَالَ : نَعَمْ، قَالَ : وَجَاءَهُ رَجُلٌ، فَقَالَ : إِنَّهُ طَلَّقَ امْرَأَتَهُ مِائَةَ طَلْقَةٍ قَالَ : بِكَلَامٍ وَاحِدٍ؟، قَالَ : بِكَلَامٍ وَاحِدٍ، قَالَ : فَيُرِيدُونَ أَنْ يُبِينُوا مِنْكَ امْرَأَتَكَ؟، قَالَ : نَعَمْ، فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ :" مَنْ طَلَّقَ كَمَا أَمَرَهُ اللَّهُ، فَقَدْ بَيَّنَ اللَّهُ الطَّلَاقَ وَمَنْ لَبَّسَ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ، وَكَّلْنَا بِهِ لَبْسَهُ وَاللَّهِ لَا تُلَبِّسُونَ عَلَى أَنْفُسِكُمْ وَنَتَحَمَّلُهُ نَحْنُ، هُوَ كَمَا تَقُولُونَ "

Saeed bin Amir told us, on the authority of Ibn Aoun, on the authority of Muhammad bin Sirin, on the authority of Alqamah, who said: A man came to Abdullah and said: Yesterday, he divorced his wife eight times.
