حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُطِيعٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الْجَلِيلِ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَرِيزٍ الْأَزْدِيِّ ، قَالَ : قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَلَامٍ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، إِنَّا نَجِدُكَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ قَائِمًا عِنْدَ رَبِّكَ وَأَنْتَ مُحْمَارَّةٌ وَجْنَتَاكَ مُسْتَحْيٍ مِنْ رَبِّكَ مِمَّا أَحْدَثَتْ أُمَّتُكَ مِنْ بَعْدِكَ "

Abdullah bin Muti’ told us, Hushaym told us, on the authority of Abu Abdul Jalil, on the authority of Abu Hariz al-Azdi, he said: Abdullah bin Salam said To the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace: “O Messenger of God, we will find you on the Day of Resurrection standing before your Lord, and you will be ashamed, with your cheeks ashamed of Your Lord, from what your nation has created after you.”

حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، وَذَكَرَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ :" شَهِدْتُهُ يَوْمَ دَخَلَ الْمَدِينَةَ فَمَا رَأَيْتُ يَوْمًا قَطُّ، كَانَ أَحْسَنَ وَلَا أَضْوَأَ مِنْ يَوْمٍ دَخَلَ عَلَيْنَا فِيهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَشَهِدْتُهُ يَوْمَ مَوْتِهِ، فَمَا رَأَيْتُ يَوْمًا كَانَ أَقْبَحَ، وَلَا أَظْلَمَ مِنْ يَوْمٍ مَاتَ فِيهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ "

Affan told us, Hammad bin Salamah told us, on the authority of Thabit, on the authority of Anas, and he mentioned that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “I witnessed him on the day he entered Medina, I have never seen a day that was better or brighter than the day on which the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, entered upon us, and I witnessed it on the day His death. I have never seen a day more uglier or more unjust than the day on which the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, died.”

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، أَنَّ فَاطِمَةَ ، قَالَتْ : يَا أَنَسُ” كَيْفَ طَابَتْ أَنْفُسُكُمْ أَنْ تَحْثُوا عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ التُّرَابَ؟، وَقَالَتْ : يَا أَبَتَاهْ، مِنْ رَبِّهِ مَا أَدْنَاهْ، وَا أَبَتَاهْ جَنَّةُ الْفِرْدَوْسِ مَأْوَاهْ، وَا أَبَتَاهْ إِلَى جِبْرِيلَ نَنْعَاهْ، وَا أَبَتَاهْ أَجَابَ رَبًّا دَعَاهْ، قَالَ حَمَّادٌ : حِينَ حَدَّثَ ثَابِتٌ بَكَى، وقَالَ ثَابِتٌ : حِينَ حَدَّثَ أَنَسٌ بَكَى “

Abu al-Nu’man narrated to us, Hammad ibn Zayd narrated to us, from Thabit, from Anas ibn Malik:

Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) said:

“O Anas, how could you bring yourselves to scatter dust over the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)?”

And she said:

“O my father!

How close he is now to his Lord!

O my father! Paradise of al-Firdaws is his abode!

O my father! We announce his death to Jibreel!

O my father! He has responded to the call of his Lord!”

Hammad said: When Thabit narrated this, he wept.

And Thabit said: When Anas narrated this, he wept.

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي خَلَفٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ :" مَا سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَذْكُرُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَطُّ إِلَّا بَكَى "

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعَيْبٌ هُوَ ابْنُ إِسْحَاق ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنِي يَعِيشُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ ، حَدَّثَنِي مَكْحُولٌ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ :" إِذَا أَصَابَ أَحَدَكُمْ مُصِيبَةٌ فَلْيَذْكُرْ مُصِيبَتَهُ بِي فَإِنَّهَا مِنْ أَعْظَمِ الْمَصَائِبِ "

أَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، قَالَ :" تُوُفِّيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ الِاثْنَيْنِ، فَحُبِسَ بَقِيَّةَ يَوْمِهِ وَلَيْلَتَهُ وَالْغَدَ حَتَّى دُفِنَ لَيْلَةَ الْأَرْبِعَاءِ، وَقَالُوا : إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمْ يَمُتْ، وَلَكِنْ عُرِجَ بِرُوحِهِ كَمَا عُرِجَ بِرُوحِ مُوسَى ، فَقَامَ عُمَرُ، فَقَالَ : إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمْ يَمُتْ، وَلَكِنْ عُرِجَ بِرُوحِهِ كَمَا عُرِجَ بِرُوحِ مُوسَى ، وَاللَّهِ لَا يَمُوتُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَتَّى يَقْطَعَ أَيْدِيَ أَقْوَامٍ وَأَلْسِنَتَهُمْ، فَلَمْ يَزَلْ عُمَرُ يَتَكَلَّمُ حَتَّى أَزْبَدَ شِدْقَاهُ مِمَّا يُوعِدُ وَيَقُولُ، فَقَامَ الْعَبَّاسُ، فَقَالَ : إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَدْ مَاتَ، وَإِنَّهُ لَبَشَرٌ وَإِنَّهُ يَأْسَنُ كَمَا يَأْسَنُ الْبَشَرُ، أَيْ قَوْمِ فَادْفِنُوا صَاحِبَكُمْ، فَإِنَّهُ أَكْرَمُ عَلَى اللَّهِ مِنْ أَنْ يُمِيتَهُ إِمَاتَتَيْنِ، أَيُمِيتُ أَحَدَكُمْ إِمَاتَةً وَيُمِيتُهُ إِمَاتَتَيْنِ وَهُوَ أَكْرَمُ عَلَى اللَّهِ مِنْ ذَلِكَ؟، أَيْ قَوْمِ، فَادْفِنُوا صَاحِبَكُمْ، فَإِنْ يَكُ كَمَا تَقُولُونَ فَلَيْسَ بِعَزِيزٍ عَلَى اللَّهِ أَنْ يَبْحَثَ عَنْهُ التُّرَابَ، إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَاللَّهِ مَا مَاتَ حَتَّى تَرَكَ السَّبِيلَ نَهْجًا وَاضِحًا، فَأَحَلَّ الْحَلَالَ، وَحَرَّمَ الْحَرَامَ، وَنَكَحَ وَطَلَّقَ، وَحَارَبَ وَسَالَمَ، مَا كَانَ رَاعِي غَنَمٍ يَتَّبِعُ بِهَا صَاحِبُهَا رُءُوسَ الْجِبَالِ يَخْبِطُ عَلَيْهَا الْعِضَاهَ بِمِخْبَطِهِ وَيَمْدُرُ حَوْضَهَا بِيَدِهِ بِأَنْصَبَ وَلَا أَدْأَبَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، كَانَ فِيكُمْ، أَيْ قَوْمِ فَادْفِنُوا صَاحِبَكُمْ، قَالَ : وَجَعَلَتْ أُمُّ أَيْمَنَ تَبْكِي، فَقِيلَ لَهَا : يَا أُمَّ أَيْمَنَ تَبْكِينَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟، قَالَتْ : إِنِّي وَاللَّهِ مَا أَبْكِي عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ لا أَكُونَ أَعْلَمُ أَنَّهُ قَدْ ذَهَبَ إِلَى مَا هُوَ خَيْرٌ لَهُ مِنْ الدُّنْيَا، وَلَكِنِّي أَبْكِي عَلَى خَبَرِ السَّمَاءِ انْقَطَعَ، قَالَ حَمَّادٌ : خَنَقَتِ الْعَبْرَةُ أَيُّوبَ حِينَ بَلَغَ هَا هُنَا "

Suleiman bin Harb told us, Hammad bin Zaid told us, on the authority of Ayyub, on the authority of Ikrimah, he said: “The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, died. On Monday, he was imprisoned for the rest of his day, night, and tomorrow until he was buried on Wednesday night. They said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, did not He died, but ascended in his spirit just as he ascended in the spirit of Moses. Then Omar stood up and said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, did not die, but rather ascended in his spirit. Just as he ascended with the spirit of Moses, and by God, the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, will not die until he has cut off the hands and tongues of a people. He spoke until his lips frothed with what he promised and said. Then Al-Abbas stood up and said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, has died, and he was a human being. And he grieves just as humans grieve, that is, get up and bury your friend, for he is more honorable to God than to cause him to die twice. Would one of you die? One death, and He should cause him to die twice, and he is more honorable to God than that? So, my people, bury your friend, for if he is as you say, then he is not dear to God. That the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, by God, did not die until he left the path with a clear path, and he permitted what was permissible and forbade it. forbidden, and he married and divorced, and he fought and was peaceful. He was not a shepherd whose owner used them to follow the tops of the mountains, striking the members on them with his paw. And he strokes her basin with his hand with more dignity and manners than the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. He was among you, that is, get up, bury your friend. He said: Umm Ayman began to cry, and it was said to her: O Umm Ayman, are you crying for the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace? She said: By God, I do not cry for the Messenger of God. May God’s prayers and peace be upon him. أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا فُلَيْحُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : أُوذِنَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالصَّلَاةِ فِي مَرَضِهِ، فَقَالَ :" مُرُوا أَبَا بَكْرٍ يُصَلِّي بِالنَّاسِ "، ثُمَّ أُغْمِيَ عَلَيْهِ، فَلَمَّا سُرِّيَ عَنْهُ، قَالَ : " هَلْ أَمَرْتُنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ يُصَلِّي بِالنَّاسِ؟ "، فَقُلْتُ : إِنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ رَجُلٌ رَقِيقٌ، فَلَوْ أَمَرْتَ عُمَرَ، فَقَالَ : " أَنْتُنَّ صَوَاحِبُ يُوسُفَ مُرُوا أَبَا بَكْرٍ يُصَلِّي بِالنَّاسِ، فَرُبَّ قَائِلٍ مُتَمَنٍّ وَيَأْبَى اللَّهُ وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ "

أَخْبَرَنَا فَرْوَةُ بْنُ أَبِي الْمَغْرَاءِ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُخْتَارٍ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاق ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا، قَالَتْ : قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي مَرَضِهِ :" صُبُّوا عَلَيَّ سَبْعَ قِرَبٍ مِنْ سَبْعِ آبَارٍ شَتَّى حَتَّى أَخْرُجَ إِلَى النَّاسِ فَأَعْهَدَ إِلَيْهِمْ "، قَالَ : فَأَقْعَدْنَاهُ فِي مِخْضَبٍ لِحَفْصَةَ فَصَبَبْنَا عَلَيْهِ الْمَاءَ صَبًّا أَوْ شَنَنَّا عَلَيْهِ شَنًّا، الشَّكُّ مِنْ قِبَلِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاق، فَوَجَدَ رَاحَةً، فَخَرَجَ فَصَعِدَ الْمِنْبَرَ، فَحَمِدَ اللَّهَ وَأَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ وَاسْتَغْفَرَ لِلشُّهَدَاءِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ أُحُدٍ، وَدَعَا لَهُمْ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : " أَمَّا بَعْدُ، فَإِنَّ الْأَنْصَارَ عَيْبَتِي الَّتِي أَوَيْتُ إِلَيْهَا، فَأَكْرِمُوا كَرِيمَهُمْ، وَتَجَاوَزُوا عَنْ مُسِيئِهِمْ إِلَّا فِي حَدٍّ، أَلَا إِنَّ عَبْدًا مِنْ عِبَادِ اللَّهِ قَدْ خُيِّرَ بَيْنَ الدُّنْيَا وَبَيْنَ مَا عِنْدَ اللَّهِ، فَاخْتَارَ مَا عِنْدَ اللَّهِ "، فَبَكَى أَبُو بَكْرٍ، وَظَنَّ أَنَّهُ يَعْنِي نَفْسَهُ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " عَلَى رِسْلِكَ يَا أَبَا بَكْرٍ، سُدُّوا هَذِهِ الْأَبْوَابَ الشَّوَارِعَ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ إِلَّا بَابَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، فَإِنِّي لَا أَعْلَمُ امْرَءًا أَفْضَلَ عِنْدِي يَدًا فِي الصُّحْبَةِ مِنْ أَبِي بَكْرٍ "

Farwa bin Abi Al-Mughra told us, Ibrahim bin Mukhtar told us, on the authority of Muhammad bin Ishaq, on the authority of Muhammad bin Ka’b, on the authority of Urwa, On the authority of Aisha, may God be pleased with her, she said: The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said during his illness: “Pour seven water skins on me from seven various wells until I get out.” To the people and he entrusted them.” He said: “So we made him sit in Hafsa’s furnace and poured water over him or put a grudge against him, suspicion from before.” Muhammad bin Ishaq found relief, so he went out and ascended the pulpit. He thanked and praised God and asked forgiveness for the martyrs among the companions of Uhud, and prayed To them, then he said: “As for what follows, the Ansar are my fault to which I have been sent, so honor their nobles, and turn away from their wrongdoers except within a certain limit. “A servant of God was given a choice between this world and what God has, so he chose what God has.” Abu Bakr cried, and he thought he meant himself, so the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “By your messengers, O Abu Bakr, block these doors on the streets to the mosque, except for the door of Abu Bakr. Bakr, for I do not know of anyone who is more helpful to me in companionship than Abu Bakr.”

أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ ابْنِ إِسْحَاق ، عَنْ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ ، عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : رَجَعَ إِلَيَّ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ مِنْ جَنَازَةٍ مِنْ الْبَقِيعِ ، فَوَجَدَنِي وَأَنَا أَجِدُ صُدَاعًا وَأَنَا أَقُولُ : وَا رَأْسَاهُ !، قَالَ :" بَلْ أَنَا يَا عَائِشَةُ وَا رَأْسَاهُ "، قَالَ : " وَمَا ضَرَّكِ لَوْ مِتِّ قَبْلِي فَغَسَّلْتُكِ وَكَفَّنْتُكِ وَصَلَّيْتُ عَلَيْكِ وَدَفَنْتُكِ؟ "، فَقُلْتُ : لَكَأَنّنِي بِكَ وَاللَّهِ لَوْ فَعَلْتُ ذَلِكَ لَرَجَعْتَ إِلَى بَيْتِي فَأَعْرَسْتَ فِيهِ بِبَعْضِ نِسَائِكَ، قَالَتْ : " فَتَبَسَّمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ثُمَّ بُدِئَ فِي وَجَعِهِ الَّذِي مَاتَ فِيهِ "

Al-Hakam bin Al-Mubarak told us, Muhammad bin Salamah told us, on the authority of Ibn Ishaq, on the authority of Yaqoub bin Utba, on the authority of Ibn Shihab, on the authority of Ubayd Allah bin Abdullah bin Utbah, on the authority of Aisha, who said: The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, returned to me one day from the funeral of Al-Baqi’, and he found me having a headache and I was saying: “By its head!” He said: “Rather, I am, Aisha, and its head.” He said: “And it would not harm you if You died before me, so I washed you, shrouded you, prayed over you, and buried you.” So I said: “By God, if I had done that, I would have returned to my house.” So you married some of your wives there, she said: “Then the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, smiled, and then began the pain in which he died.”
